Kim Go-Eun, Park Ji-Hyun, & Kim Gun-Woo cast in Netflix drama “Two Women”

Kim Go-Eun, Park Ji-Hyun, & Kim Gun-Woo are cast in Netflix drama series “Two Women” (working title). Drama series is scripted by Song Hye-Jin (“Hundred Million Stars From the Sky“) and directed by Jo Young-Min (“Do You Like Brahms?“). Kim Go-Eun and Park Ji-Hyun will play main characters Ryu Eun-Joong and Cheon Sang-Yeon. The two main characters are 42-years-old and they have been best friends and rivals since their elementary school days. The story will follow their friendship over the years and then to the present day when they face Cheon Sang-Yeon’s cancer diagnosis.

Release date for “Two Women” has not yet been announced.

Teaser trailer 3 added for JTBC drama series “Queen of Divorce” starring Lee Ji-Ah, Kang Ki-Young, & Oh Min-Suk. The teaser trailer begins with Lee Ji-Ah as Kim Sa-Ra stating “I don’t think about what I can’t do,” and followed by Kang Ki-Young (0:03) asking “How can we get them to divorce only with our sincere heart?,” and then Lee Ji-Ah (0:06) “Let’s start a solution.”

“Queen of Divorce” first airs  January 31, 2024 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for movie “Secret”

Teaser trailer added for movie “Secret” starring Taiga Kyomoto and Kotone Furukawa. Movie is a remake of 2007 Taiwanese romance film “Secret.” The teaser trailer begins with Minato Higuchi (Taiga Kyomoto) following the sound of a piano being played in a campus building. He then encounters Yukino Naito (Kotone Furukawa) for the first time. Minato Higuchi asks her what song she is playing and Yukino Naito replies that it is a secret.

“Secret” is now scheduled to be released June, 2024 in Japan.

Jang Na-Ra, Nam Ji-Hyun cast in SBS drama series “Good Partner”

Jang Na-Ra, Nam Ji-Hyun, Kim Joon-Han, & Pyo Ji-Hoon are cast in SBS drama series “Good Partner.” The law themed drama series is set at Law Firm Daejung and all four announced cast members will play lawyers there. Jang Na-Ra and Nam Ji-Hyun will play lead characters who often clash at work due to their personality differences. Filming for the drama series is expected to begin soon.

“Good Partner” will air sometime later this year in South Korea.

Air date set for tvN drama “Wedding Impossible”

tvN drama series “Wedding Impossible,” starring Jun Jong-Seo & Moon Sang-Min, is now set to first air February 26, 2024. “Wedding Impossible” will move into tvN’s Monday and Tuesday 8:50 PM time slot after the conclusion of “Marry My Husband.” Drama series “Wedding Impossible” is based on web novel of same name by Song Jung-Won and directed by Kwon Young-Il (“Doom at Your Service“). Ep.1-2 trailer added for Disney+ drama series “A Shop for Killers” starring Lee Dong-Wook & Kim Hye-Jun. The trailer begin with Kim Hye-Jun as Jung Ji-An asking “Jung Jin-Man.. You will come back soon right?” At the 7 second mark Lee Dong-Wook as Jung Jin-Man states “I will be back soon. My friend will come soon and ask you to open the door. Teaser trailer 3 for SBS drama series “Flexx Cop” starring Ahn Bo-Hyun and Park Ji-Hyun. The teaser trailer has Ahn Bo-Hyun as Jin Yi-Soo narrating throughout the teaser. He states “Yes.. this is the Gangha Police Station’s Violent Crime Section 1 Team. The people (we go after) are really evil. This is a murder case. There is a culprit in here. This is a locked room murder.” He then states around the 44 second mark “I think this is going to be a very difficult case.”

“Flexx Cop” will first air January 26, 2024 in South Korea.

Shotaro Mamiya cast in NTV drama “Acma: Game”

Shotaro Mamiya is cast in NTV live-action drama series “Acma: Game.” The drama series is based on manga series “Acma: Game” written by Mebu & illustrated by Koji Megumi. For “Acma: Game,” Shotaro Mamiya will play Teruasa Oda. He is the heir of a company, but he has spent most of his life researching the secret of the devil’s key. He returns to Japan and takes part in the “Acma: Game,” in pursuit of the devil’s key.

“Acma: Game” will first air April, 2024 in Japan (takes over NTV’s Sunday 10:30 PM time slot after “Alice in Wonderful Kitchen“).

Park Bo-Gum & Kim So-Hyun cast in JTBC drama “Good Boy”

Park Bo-Gum & Kim So-Hyun are cast in JTBC drama series “Good Boy.” The drama series features an original screenplay by Lee Dae-II (“Bring it on, Ghost“) and directed by Sim Na-Yeon (“Beyond Evil“). The script features a mixture of comedy, action, and police investigation. Park Bo-Gum and Kim So-Hyun will both play former Olympic gold medalists who become police officers.

“Good Boy” will air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.
