Alice Hirose cast in Fuji TV drama “366 Days”

Alice Hirose is cast in Fuji TV drama series “366 Days.” Drama series is scripted by Yukako Shimizu (“Dearest“) and directed by Yuichiro Hirakawa (“Burn the House Down“). In the upcoming drama series, Alice Hirose will play lead female character Asuka Yukihira. She goes to her high school reunion and meets someone she liked back in her high school days. But, tragedy strikes shortly afterwards.

“366 Days” will first air April, 2024 (takes over Fuji TV’s Monday 9Pm time slot after “The Gift of Your Heart“).

Teaser poster and release date for Netflix movie “The Parades”

Teaser poster and release date announced for Netflix distributed movie “The Parades” starring Masami Nagasawa. Movie is written and directed by Michihito Fujii (“The Journalist“). The film will have Masami Nagasawa play Minako. After she wakes up on the beach, she learns that she has died and soon takes part in The Parades, which is a gathering of deceased people in search of a loved one. First teaser trailer and poster added for Disney+ drama series “The Impossible Heir” starring Lee Jae-Wook, Lee Jun-Young, & Hong Su-Zu. Caption on the teaser poster states “I want to have it, I want to be it, I want to steal it.” The teaser trailer begins with the introduction of the three main characters Han Tae-O (Lee Jae-Wook), Kang In-Ha (Lee Jun-Young) and Na Hye-Won (Hong Su-Zu). Han Tae-O has a father who killed his wife. Kang In-Ha was born as an illegitimate son of the family that owns Korea’s largest chaebol group Kang Group. Na Hye-Won has a mother who is in deep dept. Ren Nagase & Natsuki Deguchi are cast in Netflix movie “Yomei Ichinen no Boku ga, Yomei Hantoshi no Kimi to Deatta Hanashi.” Movie is based on 2021 novel “Yomei Ichinen to Senkoku Sareta Boku ga, Yomei Hantoshi no Kimi to Deatta Hanashi” by Aoi Morita. The movie adaptation will be directed by Takahiro Miki (“The Door into Summer“). Story for the movie will revolve around the relationship between Akito Hayasaka (Ren Nagase) and Haruna Sakurai (Natsuki Deguchi). Akito Hayasaka learns he has a tumor in his heart and he only has a year left to live. He then meets Haruna Sakurai who has only 6 months left to live.

“Yomei Ichinen no Boku ga, Yomei Hantoshi no Kimi to Deatta Hanashi” will be available to stream sometime later this year on Netflix.

Shin Ha-Kyun, Lee Jeong-Ha, Jin Goo, & Jo A-Ram are cast in tvN drama series “Thank You” (literal title). The drama series features an original screenplay by Choi Min-Ho and will be directed by Kwon Young-Il (“Doom at Your Service“). Story for “Thank You” will revolve around the audit team for a large construction company. Shin Ha-Kyun will play Shin Cha-Il, who leads the audit team and Lee Jeong-Ha will play rookie auditor Goo Han-Soo.

“Thank You” will air sometime later this year in South Korea.

Lee Min-Ho & Ahn Hyo-Seop cast in movie “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint”

Lee Min-Ho, Ahn Hyo-Seop, Chae Soo-Bin, Shin Seung-Ho, Nana, and Blackpink’s Kim Ji-Soo are cast in fantasy movie “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” (literal title). The film is based on web novel “Jeonjijeok Dokja Shijeom” by Sing Shong and directed by Kim Byung-Woo (“The Terror Live“). Lee Min-Ho & Ahn Hyo-Seop will play characters who team up to save the world. Lee Min-Ho’s Yoo Joong-Hyeok is the main character of an obscure web novel that comes to life. Ahn Hyo-Seop will play office worker Kim Dok-Ja. He is a huge fan of the obscure web novel and is the only person that knows its ending.

First script reading has already taken place and filming for the movie began December, 2023.
