The drama series follows a couple who haven’t been intimate in a long time and come up with an idea to make money. They target adulterers and blackmail them for money. First teaser trailer added for JTBC drama series “Queen of Divorce” starring Lee Ji-Ah and Kang Ki-Young. Suho cast in MBN drama “The Crown Prince Has Disappeared”

Suho from ‘EXO’ is cast for the lead male role in MBN drama series “The Crown Prince Has Disappeared” (literal title) co-starring Hong Ye-Ji. Drama series “The Crown Prince Has Disappeared” is set during the Joseon period and is a romantic-comedy. Suho will play Crown Prince Yi Gun. He falls into trouble when he is kidnapped by a woman played by Hong Ye-Ji.

“The Crown Prince Has Disappeared” first airs sometime this year in South Korea.

Jung So-Min cast in tvN drama “Mom’s Friend’s Son”

Jung So-Min is cast in tvN drama series “Mom’s Friend’s Son” (literal title) co-starring Jung Hae-In. For “Mom’s Friend’s Son,” Jung So-Min will play lead female character Bae Seok-Ryu. She would like nothing more than reboot her life and she then meets her childhood friend Choi Seung-Hyo (Jung Hae-In). They spent their childhood together because he was her mom’s friend’s son.

“Mom’s Friend’s Son” will first air sometime in the second half of this year.

Teaser trailer added for movie “Dog Days” starring Youn Yuh-Jung and Yu Hae-Jin. The omnibus film centers around people and their dogs. The first teaser trailer begins with Yu Hae-Jin stating “A dog’s life is better than a human’s life.” The teaser trailer then shows Min-Sang (Yu Hae-Jin) unexpectedly getting involved with Min-Seo (Youn Yuh-Jung) due to a dog.

“Dog Days” will be released February 7, 2024 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer and poster added for Netflix movie “Badland Hunters” starring Ma Dong-Seok, Lee Hee-Jun, & Lee Jun-Young. The post-apocalyptic film is set after an earthquake that has devastated South Korea and survivors must fend for themselves. Caption on the poster states “The world that has come to an end, we need an hunter.”

“Badland Hunters” will be released January 26, 2024 in South Korea.

See list of winners & nominees at the just concluded 2023 KBS Drama Awards. Big winners for this year’s events includes “Korea-Khitan War,” “The Matchmakers,” and “Live Your Own Life.” “Korea-Khitan War” won in 7 different categories with Choi Soo-Jong receiving the Grand Prize award and Kim Dong-Joon receiving the Best Actor award. “The Matchmakers” won in 5 different categories with Ro Woon receiving the Best Actor award and Cho Yi-Hyun receiving the Excellent Actress award. “Live Your Own Life” won in 4 different categories with Uee receiving the Best Actress award. Drama series “Oasis” also won in 7 different categories.

The big winner of the night was drama series “My Dearest” with actor Namkoong Min winning the Grand Prize, Ahn Eun-Jin winning the Best Actress award, and the Best Drama Award. “My Dearest” received a total of 8 awards. Drama series “The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract” received a total of 3 awards, with Best Actress award going to Lee Se-Young and Excellent Actor award to Bae In-Hyuk.

Park Shin-Hye and Kim Jae-Young cast in SBS drama “The Judge from Hell”

Park Shin-Hye and Kim Jae-Young are cast in SBS drama series “The Judge from Hell” (literal title). The drama series title is also a literal description of Park Shin-Hy’s character Kang Bit-Na. She works as a judge, but she is actually a demon from Hell who punishes evil people. Kim Jae-Young will play Han Da-On. He works as a detective.

“The Judge from Hell” will first air sometime next year in South Korea.
