Teaser poster and release date set for movie “Ditto” starring Yeo Jin-Goo & Cho Yi-Hyun. Movie is a remake of 2000 movie “Ditto” starring Yoo Ji-Tae & Kim Ha-Neul. The film follows two young university students who begin to communicate via ham radio. They realize that each person lives in another time from the other person. Caption on the poster states “In different time periods, we are connected.”

Haruka Shimazaki & Keisuke Watanabe are cast in TBS drama “Watashi no Shitekurenai Pheromone Kareshi.” The drama series features an original screenplay by Sorami Date (“Coffee & Vanilla“). Haruka Shimazaki will play Rei Mizukawa and Keisuke Watanabe will play Shuto Arima. They meet at a shared workspace office and begin to date. Their relationship goes great, except Shuto Arima does not try to kiss or become intimate with Rei Mizukawa.

Ryoo Seung-Ryong, Ahn Jae-Hong, and Kim You-Jung are cast in Netflix drama series “Sweet and Spicy Chicken” (literal title). Kim You-Jung will make a special appearance in the drama series, while Ryoo Seung-Ryong and Ahn Jae-Hong will play lead characters. The story has Kim You-Jung playing the daughter of Ryoo Seung-Ryong. The father runs a machine company. The daughter gets into a machine at his work place, that was just delivered, but the machine turns her into a piece of sweet and spicy fried chicken.. The drama series is based on webcomic “Dakgangjeong” by Park Ji-Dok and directed by Lee Byeong-Hun. Director Lee Byeong-Hun and actor Ryoo Seung-Ryong previously worked together in 2019 movie “Extreme Job.” Director Lee Byeong-Hun and actor Ahn Jae-Hong previously worked together in 2019 JTBC drama series “Be Melodramatic.”
“Sweet and Spicy Chicken” will stream on Netflix sometime next year.

The trailer begins with Lee Da-Hee stating “Let’s go out together for a day.” The drama series follows a variety show producer and a plastic surgeon who are good friends. The drama series has the unique premise of 5 members of a boy band who get disbanded and then over a grocery store named Boram Mart. Choi Jung-Woon, Xiumin, Hyungwon, Choi Won-Myeong, & Lee Sae-On will play the former boy band members who run Boram Mart. Choi Jung-Woon will play a part-time worker there. Kim Sha-Na will a member of the most popular girl group.

Kim So-Hyun is cast in drama series “Is It a Coincidence?” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Wooyeonilgga?” written by Nam Ji-Eun & illustrated by Kim In-Ho. The drama series will be directed Song Hyun-Wook (recent credits include “The Golden Spoon” and “The King’s Affection“). In “Is It a Coincidence?,” Kim So-Hyun will play Lee Hong-Ju. She works as a PD for animation productions. She also has trauma from a past love experience. She then meets her first love.
“Is It a Coincidence?” will consist of 8 episodes, but air dates or broadcast networks has not yet been announced.

Kim Jung-Hyun & Lim Soo-Hyang are cast in MBC drama series “Season of Kok-Du” (literal title). The fantasy-romance themed screenplay will have Kim Jung-Hyun play a grim reaper and Lim Soo-Hyang play a doctor. They get involved in a romance. Filming for the drama series has already begun led by director Baek Soo-Chan (“Alice“).
Air date for “Season of Kok-Du” has not yet been revealed.
