Shihori Kanjiya and Masato Wada cast in movie “Orange Lamp”

Shihori Kanjiya and Masato Wada are cast in movie “Orange Lamp.” The movie is based on the true story of Tomofumi Tanno. In 2013, Tomofumi Tanno was diagnosed with early-onset dementia at the age of 39. Movie will be directed by Mitsuhiro Mihara (“Flavor of Happiness“). For “Orange Lamp,” Masato Wada will play Koichi Tadano. He receives the devastating news that he has early-onset dementia. Shihori Kanjiya will play Mao Tadano. She is married to Koichi Tadano.

“Orange Lamp” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

First teaser trailer added for KBS2 weekday evening drama series “Vengeance of the Bride” starring Park Ha-Na, Oh Seung-A, & Kang Ji-Sub. The teaser trailer has Park Ha-Na as Eun Seo-Yeon declaring “There is no pure white beauty in this world. The purpose of this marriage is for one reason. Revenge.”

“Vengeance of the Bride” first airs October 10, 2023 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Monday-Friday 7:50 PM time slot after “Gold Mask“).

Masaki Okada & Kaya Kiyohara cast in movie “My Missing Valentine”

Masaki Okada & Kaya Kiyohara are cast in movie “My Missing Valentine” directed by Nobuhiro Yamashita (“Linda Linda Linda“). The film is a remake of 2020 Taiwanese film “My Missing Valentine” directed by Chen Yu-Hsun. The Japanese remake film is scripted by Kankuro Kudo and he has switched the genders of the two main characters from the original film. In the original Taiwanese film, the female lead was always a second faster than everyone else and works at the post office. The male lead was a second slower than everyone else. In the remake, Masaki Oakada will play a young man who is a second faster than everyone else and Kaya Kiyohara will play a young woman who is a second slower than everyone else.

“My Missing Valentine” will be released summer, 2023 in Japan.

Main trailer and poster added for Disney+ drama series “May It Please The Court” starring Jung Ryeo-Won, Lee Kyu-Hyung, & Jung Jin-Young. Narration in the main trailer starts off with Lee Kyu-Hyung stating “I guess that rumor is right. You are an ace of Law Firm Jangsan with 92% winning rate and you’re also their dog who will do anything when asked.” Around the 14 second mark Jung Ryeo-Won states “What kind of dog? I think Sitzu is cute.” Later in the main trailer, Jung Ryeo-Won states (1:33) “Are you telling me that Lawyer Jwa was murdered?”

Koji Yakusho cast in Netflix drama “The Days”

Koji Yakusho is cast in Netflix drama series “The Days.” The drama series is based on real life events that occurred at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in 2011. Koji Yakusho will play a plant manager who works at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. The drama series is scripted over a 7 day period from when the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami struck Japan. 8 total episodes will be directed by Masaki Nishiura (“Code Blue“) and Hideo Nakata (“Sadako“).

“The Days” will be available to stream sometime next year on Netflix.

The drama series will be directed by Lee Jong-Pil (“Samjin Company English Class“), who will be making his drama series directing debut. Lee Na-Young will play title character Park Ha-Kyung in the 8 episode dramas series. She works as a high school teacher and she will take 8 different one day trips on her off day.

“Park Ha-Kyung’s Travels” will premiere sometime next year in South Korea.

Han Suk-Kyu, Ahn Hyo-Seop, and Lee Sung-Kyung cast in SBS drama “Dr. Romantic 3”

Han Suk-Kyu, Ahn Hyo-Seop, and Lee Sung-Kyung are cast in SBS drama series “Dr. Romantic 3.” Han Suk-Kyu, who appeared in both 2016 SBS drama series “Dr. Romantic” and 2020 SBS drama series “Dr. Romantic 2,” will reprise his lead character role of Teacher Kim. Ahn Hyo-Seop and Lee Sung-Kyung, who appeared in “Dr. Romantic 2,” will reprise their roles of Seo Woo-Jin and Cha Eun-Jae. Director Yu In-Sik and screenwriter Kang Eun-Kyung will also return for the third season after working together in the first two seasons.

“Dr. Romantic 3” is planned to air sometime during the first half of next year in South Korea.

Miki Nakatani cast in WOWOW drama “Giver Taker”

Miki Nakatani is cast in WOWOW live-action drama series “Giver Taker.” The drama series is based on manga “Life2 Giver Taker” by Keiko Suenobu. For “Giver Taker,” Miki Naktani will play ex-elementary school teacher turned detective Itsuki Kurasawa. She underwent the drastic career change after her daughter was murdered by one of her students. 12 years later, that student is now set to be released.

“Giver Taker” will air sometime next year in Japan.

First teaser trailer for Disney+ drama series “Casino” starring Choi Min-Sik, Son Suk-Ku, & Lee Dong-Hwi. The drama series, featuring Choi Min-Sik’s first ever appearance in a drama series, is scripted and directed by Kang Yoon-Sung (“The Outlaws“) Narration in the teaser trailer has Choi Min-Sik stating around the 37 second mark “We made 70 billion won in 10 years and got close to all the political figures in the Philippines.
