Namkoong Min & Kim Ji-Eun cast in SBS drama “One Thousand Won Lawyer”

Namkoong Min & Kim Ji-Eun are cast for lead roles in SBS drama series “One Thousand Won Lawyer” (literal title). Also cast in supporting roles are Choi Dae-Hoon, Lee Deok-Hwa, & Park Jin-Woo. The drama series will have Namkoong Min play quirky attorney Cheon Ji-Hun. He has permed hair and charges clients only 1,000 won (about $1 USD) for his service. Kim Ji-Eun will play Baek Ma-Ri. She works as a prosecutor’s assistant.

“One Thousand Won Lawyer” will air sometime later this year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for Seezn drama “Juvenile Delinquency 2”

First teaser trailer added for Seezn drama series “Juvenile Delinquency 2” starring Won Ji-An & Yoon Chan-Young. Drama series is a sequel to “Juvenile Delinquency,” which was released March 25, 2022 via Seezn. The teaser video begins with an unidentified voice asking “Why did you come here all the way from Seoul?” and followed by Won Ji-An stating “I have someone to meet.”

“Juvenile Delinquency 2” will be available to stream from May 31, 2022 in Japan.

Teaser trailers for tvN drama “Alchemy of Souls”

First teaser trailers added for tvN drama series “Alchemy of Souls” (English title) starring Lee Jae-Wook & Jung So-Min. One teaser teaser trailer features Jung So-Min as Mu-Deok. She takes off her blind fold and holds a sword as an elite warrior. The other teaser trailer features Lee Jae-Wook as Jang Wook. He sits stoically on a desolate rock, while burning papers.

The teaser trailers also reveals “Alchemy of Souls” will first air June 18, 2022 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “Our Blues“).

Teaser trailer #4 for SBS drama “Woori The Virgin”

Teaser trailer #4 added for SBS drama series “Woori The Virgin” starring Lim Soo-Hyang, Sung Hoon, & Shin Dong-Wook. Drama series is a remake of U.S. television series “Jane the Virgin.” Teaser trailer #4 begins with narration that states “Congratulations… You’re pregnant.” Above and below are character posters of Lim Soo-Hyang as Oh Woo-Ri, Sung Hoon as Raphael, and Shin Dong-Wook as Lee Gang-Jae.

“Woori The Virgin” first airs May 9, 2022  in South Korea.

Kwon Sang-Woo, Lim Se-Mi & Sung Dong-Il cast in Wavve drama “X in Crisis”

Kwon Sang-Woo, Lim Se-Mi and Sung Dong-Il are cast in Wavve drama series “X in Crisis” (literal title). The drama series is scripted by Kwak Kyung-Yoon (“Big Forest“) and directed by Kim Jung-Hoon (“The Accidental Detective“). Actors Kwon Sang-Woo and Sung Dong-Il starred together in the Kim Jung-Hoon directed film “The Accidental Detective.” In drama series “X in Crisis,” Kwon Sang-Woo will play a married, middle-aged man. His wife will be played by Lim Se-Mi. Sung Dong-Il will play a physician, who runs a neighborhood clinic.

“X in Crisis” will be available to stream sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Lee Dong-Wook, Kim So-Yeon, Kim Beom, & Ryoo Kyung-Soo cast in tvN drama “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938”

Lee Dong-Wook, Kim So-Yeon, Kim Beom, & Ryoo Kyung-Soo are cast in tvN drama series “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938.” The drama series is a sequel to 2020 tvN drama series “Tale of the Nine Tailed.” Kim So-Yeon and Ryoo Kyung-Soo will play new characters in the sequel drama series. The story for the sequel drama series will be set right after the first season of “Tale of the Nine Tailed.” A case will have Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-Wook) traveling back in time to the year 1938.

“Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” will air sometime next year in South Korea.
