Teaser poster and air date set for JTBC drama “The Good Detective 2”

Teaser poster and July, 2022 air date set for JTBC drama series “The Good Detective 2” starring Son Hyun-Joo & Jang Seung-Jo. The drama series is a sequel to 2000 JTBC drama series “The Good Detective.” In addition to lead actors Song Hyun-Joo & Jang Seung-Jo, the teaser poster shows returning actors Cha Rae-Hyoung, Jung Soon-Won, Kim Ji-Hoon, and Kim Myung-Joon. They are all members of the West Incheon Police Department’s Violent Crimes Team 2.

Filming for “The Good Detective 2” finished May, 2022 and is currently in post production.

Ko Soo, Heo Jun-Ho, Ahn So-Hee, & Ha-Joon cast in OCN drama “Missing: The Other Side 2”

Ko Soo, Heo Jun-Ho, Ahn So-Hee, and Ha-Joon are set to return in OCN sequel drama series “Missing: The Other Side 2.” The drama series is a sequel to 2020 OCN drama series “Missing: The Other Side.” Also cast to play new characters in the sequel drama series are Lee Jung-Eun and Kim Dong-Hwi. Lee Jung-Eun and Kim Dong-Hwi will play deceased people who live in the village 3 Gongdan. Lee Jung-Eun’s character was a ship captain for 30 years before she died. Kim Dong-Hwi’s character tries to find the reason of his death and the whereabouts of his body.

“Missing: The Other Side 2” will first air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Main trailer for ENA-Netflix drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”

Main trailer added for ENA-Netflix drama series “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” (English title) starring Park Eun-Bin. The trailer begins with Park Eun-Bin stating “Even, if I read my name forwards or backwards, it is still Woo Young-Woo. Gi-reo-gi (wild geese), To-ma-to, Sw-i-ss (Switzerland), In-do-in (Indian), Byeol-ddong-byeol (shooting star), Woo Young-Woo…..Yesok-sam-yeok (Yeoksam Station).” Captions in the trailer also states (0:10) “Weird lawyer appeared,” (0:21) “Large law firm lawyer survival story.”

“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” will air on ENA and stream on Netflix from June 29, 2022.

Lee Ha-Na & Lim Ju-Hwan cast in KBS2 drama “Three Siblings Bravely”

Lee Ha-Na & Lim Ju-Hwan are cast in KBS2 drama series “Three Siblings Bravely” (literal title). The drama series will slot in KBS2’s Saturday and Sunday 8PM time slot after the conclusion of “It’s Beautiful Now.” For “Three Siblings Bravely,” Lee Ha-Na will play Kim Tae-Joo. She is the oldest of three siblings. Lim Ju-Hwan will play Lee Sang-Joon. He is a popular actor. Kim Tae-Joo and Lee Sang-Joon meet again, after knowing each other as kids.

“Three Siblings Bravely” will first air in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Jeon Do-Yeon & Jung Kyoung-Ho cast in tvN drama “Ilta Scandal”

Jeon Do-Yeon and Jung Kyoung-Ho are cast in tvN drama series “Ilta Scandal.” The drama series is a romantic-comedy and set within the private institute instructor field. The drama series is scripted by Yang Hee-Seung and directed by Yoo Je-Won. Screenwriter Yang Hee-Seung and Director Yoo Je-Won previously worked together in 2014 tvN drama series “High School King of Savvy” and 2015 tvN drama series “Oh My Ghost.”

“Ilta Scandal” will first air sometime in the first half of next year in South Korea.

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” starring Kim Min-Jae, Kim Hyang-Gi, & Kim Sang-Kyung. Dialogue in the teaser trailer goes (0:11) Kim Sang-Kyung “Why isn’t it opening?,” (0:02) Kim Min-Jae “I think you should push it little bit more, then it’ll open,” (0:06) Kim Hyang-Gi  “Be careful,” (0:07) Kim Min-Jae “It opened,” (0:11) Kim Min-Jae “Where does it hurt? I will look into your mind first.” The drama series is set during the Joseon period and Kim Min-Jae plays a royal physician who begins to work in a rural village.

“Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” first airs August 1, 2022.

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Adamas” starring Ji Sung, Seo Ji-Hye, & Lee Soo-Kyung. The drama series has Ji Sung play twin brothers Ha Woo-Shin & Song Soo-Hyun. They learn that their birth father was framed for the murder of their stepfather. Dialogue in the teaser trailer goes (0:01) Ji Sung “Bloody diamond arrow,” (0:03) Seo Ji-Hye “Adamas?,” (0:04) Lee Soo-Kyung “I’m sure its Adamas,” (0:06) Heo Sung-Tae “Are you sure.” (0:11) Ji Sung “I’m going to steal Adamas.”

“Adamas” is now scheduled to first air July 27, 2022 (takes over tvN’s Wednesday and Thursday 10:30 PM time slot after “Eve“).

Cho Seung-Woo cast in JTBC drama “Sacred Divorce”

Cho Seung-Woo is cast in JTBC drama series “Sacred Divorce” (literal title). The drama series is based on on webcomic “Shinsunghan, Yihon” by Kang Tae-Kyung and directed by Lee Jae-Hoon (“Run On“). In the drama series, Cho Seung-Woo will play Shin Sung-Han. He changes profession from a music professor to a lawyer specializing in divorce. While taking on clients, he seeks to uncover the truth behind a case that led him to work as a lawyer.

“Sacred Divorce” will air sometime during the first half of 2023 in South Korea.
