Trailer and poster for movie “Kaisen Zenya”

Trailer and poster added for movie “Kaisen Zenya” starring Sosuke Ikematsu. Movie is based on non-fiction novel “Showa 16-nen Natsu no Haisen” by Naoki Inose and directed by Yuya Ishii (“The Moon“). Story for “Kaisen Zenya” is set in April of 1941, 8 months before the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. At this time, the Total War Research Institute runs simulations on a possible war and comes to the definitive conclusion that Japan will lose.

“Kaisen Zenya” will be released July 31, 2026 in Japan.

Nao, Takanori Iwata, Minami Tanaka, & Eita Nagayama cast in Fuji TV drama “Even If You Don’t Do It”

Nao, Takanori Iwata, Minami Tanaka, & Eita Nagayama are cast in Fuji TV live-action drama series “Even If You Don’t Do It.” The drama series is based on manga series “Anata ga Shite Kurenakute mo” by Haru Haruno. For “Even If You Don’t Do It,” Nao will play office worker Michi Yoshino and Takanori Iwata will play her senior Makoto Niina. They are both in marriages that have problems in the bedroom.

“Even If You Don’t Do It” will first air April 13, 2023 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Thursday 10PM time slot after “Even If You Don’t Do It“).

Teaser trailer and poster for Netflix live-action drama series “Fishbowl Wives” starring Ryoko Shinohara. Drama series is based on manga series “Kingyo Tsuma” by Kurosawa R. In addition, 11 actors have been announced for the film: Takanori Iwata, Masanobu Ando, Kyoko Hasegawa, Wakana Matsumoto, Shizuka Nakamura, Saori Seto, Anna Ishii, Hidekazu Mashima, Shingo Fujimori, Atsuhiro Inukai, & Yuki Kubota. In the drama series, Takanori Iwata he will play Haruto Toyota. He meets Sakura Hiraga (Ryoko Shinohara), who is married and in an abusive marriage, and falls in love with her. Masanobu Ando will play Takuya Hiraga. He is the abusive husband, married to Sakura Hiraga.

“Fishbowl Wives” will be available to stream on Netflix sometime next year.

The drama series will first air the same that day that movie “The End of the Tiny World” will be released in movie theaters, which is January 29, 2021.

Movie is based on 2013 novel “Na mo Naki Sekai no End Roll” by Kaoru Yukinari and directed by Yuichi Sato (“You, I Love“). The teaser begins with narration that states “Small and nameless. Irreplaceable, our world was going to collapse without a trace.” In addition, Kenjiro Ishimaru, Kohei Otomo and Akira Emoto have been announced as supporting cast members in the upcoming film.

Poster and trailer added for movie “Living In Your Sky” starring Mikako Tabe. Movie is based on 2013 novel “Sora ni Sumu” by Masato Odake and directed by Shinji Aoyama. The movie’s theme song has also been announced, which is “Sora ni Sumu; Living In Your Sky” by Sandaime J Soul Brothers. Supporting actor Takanori Iwata, who plays Morinori Tokito, is a member of Sandaime J Soul Brothers. The theme song is played in the trailer. Caption on the poster states in Japanese “I, start from here.”

Anna Yamada cast in movie “End roll of the world Nameless”

Anna Yamada is cast in movie “End roll of the world Nameless” (literal title) co-starring Takanori Iwata & Mackenyu Arata. Anna Yamada will play Yocchi in the film. She has been friends with Kida (Takanori Iwata) and Makoto (Mackenyu Arata) since they were children. She was also bullied in her past and carries psychological wounds from that. The 3 friends promised to stick together, but Yochhi had to leave Kida and Makoto. Movie is based on 2013 novel novel “Na mo Naki Sekai no End Roll” by Kaoru Yukinari.

“End roll of the world Nameless” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Mikako Tabe & Takanori Iwata (“J Soul Brothers” & “EXILE”) are cast in movie “Living In Your Sky.” The film is based on 2013 novel “Sora ni Sumu” by Masato Odake and directed by Shinji Aoyama (“Sad Vacation“). Also cast in the film are Yukino Kishii, Rie Mimura, Shingo Tsurumi, Hisafumi Iwashita, Hiroshi Takahashi, Nao Omori, Masatoshi Nagase, and Akira Emoto. The film will follow the lives of women in their 20’s and 30’s, including Naomi played by Mikako Tabe.

“Living In Your Sky” will be released October 23, 2020 in Japan.
