Yuki Uchida and Takuto Teranishi are cast in Fuji TV drama series “Last Note.” The original screenplay for “Last Note,” is written by Tomomi Matoba (“Fishbowl Wives“). In “Last Note,” a life changing romance takes place between a 49 year old woman played by Yuki Uchida and a 30 year old man.
“Last Note” first airs July 9, 2026 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Thursday 10PM time slot after “The Secret Kitchen“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: As a 49 year old woman, Aoi Ichinose (Yuki Uchida) has experienced many ups and downs in her life, including marriage, divorce, and frustration at work. She is currently employed in the sales department of a fragrance company. Her life is stable and peaceful currently and she doesn’t want to experience change. Meanwhile, Subaru Higuchi (Takuto Teranishi) is a 30 year old man, who gave up on his dream, due to the environment he grew up in, and lives suppressing his emotions. Both of these people are letting their lives slip away due to different reasons, but, through a meeting between them, they fall in love and their destinies change irreversibly.
