Teaser trailer and poster for Netflix live-action drama series “Fishbowl Wives” starring Ryoko Shinohara. Drama series is based on manga series “Kingyo Tsuma” by Kurosawa R. In addition, 11 actors have been announced for the film: Takanori Iwata, Masanobu Ando, Kyoko Hasegawa, Wakana Matsumoto, Shizuka Nakamura, Saori Seto, Anna Ishii, Hidekazu Mashima, Shingo Fujimori, Atsuhiro Inukai, & Yuki Kubota. In the drama series, Takanori Iwata he will play Haruto Toyota. He meets Sakura Hiraga (Ryoko Shinohara), who is married and in an abusive marriage, and falls in love with her. Masanobu Ando will play Takuya Hiraga. He is the abusive husband, married to Sakura Hiraga.
“Fishbowl Wives” will be available to stream on Netflix sometime next year.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Due to an accident, Sakura Hiraga (Ryoko Shinohara) gave up on her dream. She is now married and her husband runs a hair salon. They live in a luxurious penthouse apartment. Her life seems glamorous and she is envied by everyone. What everyone does not know is that Sakura Hiraga is abused physically and verbally by her husband. She is unable to leave her situation. Sakura Hiraga considers herself a goldfish in a fishbowl. One day, due to a goldfish, she meets a man.
