Seo In-Guk and Krystal are cast for lead roles in tvN drama series “Office Worker Who Sees Fate” (literal title). The drama series is based on web novel “Woonmyeongeul Boneun Hwesawon” by Young-Wan, screenplay adaptation written by Park Hye-Jin (“Cafe Minamdang“), and directed by Kim Jae-Hyun (“Dynamite Kiss“). Setup for the office fantasy drama series will have Seo In-Guk and Krystal play new employees at Pilsan Trading Company. They come from very different backgrounds. Seo In-Guk will play Choi Young-Hun. He has a special ability to see someone’s fate by holding their hand and was born to become a shaman, but he has rejected his fate and wants to live an ordinary life. Krystal will play Im Won-Hee. Even though she is a new employee, she was born into the family that owns the company, but was kicked out of her family as a child.
“Office Worker Who Sees Fate” will first air sometime in the first half of 2027.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Choi Young-Hun (Seo In-Guk) was born with the fate of a shaman and possesses a special ability to see a person’s fortune simply by holding their hand. But, Choi Young-Hun refuses to become a shaman and wants to live an ordinary life. He hides his special ability and gets a job at Pilsan Trading Company, but things don’t go according to his plan. He becomes entangled in corruption and power struggles hidden throughout the company. Meanwhile, Im Won-Hee (Krystal) is Choi Young-Hun’s colleague and joined Pilsan Trading Company at the same time as Choi Young-Hun, but she is actually a member of the family that owns the company. She was born with a fate where she is surrounded by enemies all the time. As a child, she was expelled from her family for an incident. Since then she has created for herself an impeccable background and business acumen while studying abroad. Somehow, she learns of Choi Young-Hun’s special ability. Amidst a fierce succession struggle, she begins to forge her own fate with Choi Young-Hun.
