Takanori Iwata (‘J Soul Brothers’ and ‘EXILE’) and Hana Sugisaki are cast in new live-action film “Perfect World.” The movie is based on manga series “Perfect World” by Rie Aruga and directed by Kenji Shibayama. Story for “Perfect World” follows interior design employee Tsugumi (Hana Sugisaki). She meets her first love from her high school days Itsuki Ayukawa (Takanori Iwata). He is now an architect and wheelchair bound.
Filming for “Perfect World” began June 2nd and will finish in the middle of July. The movie will be released sometime next year in Japan.
Main trailer added for upcoming movie “High & Low The Red Rain” starring Takahiro (EXILE), Hiroomi Tosaka & Takumi Saito. “High & Low The Red Rain” is the third film in the “High & Low” series and this time around focuses on the Amamiya Brothers. The film covers the story of the third Amamiya brother played by Takumi Saito.

Takanori Iwata (‘J Soul Brothers’/‘EXILE’) is cast in upcoming TBS drama series “Suna no Tou” starring Miho Kanno and Nanako Matsushima.
In the upcoming drama series, Takanori Iwata will play 28-year-old Kohei Ubukata. He works as a gym teacher and one of his students is the daughter of Aki Takano’s (Miho Kanno). Kohei Ubukata and Aki Takano grew up in the same neighborhood and he has liked Aki Takano since that time. He supports Aki Takano during her troubles with her neighbors, but he also has a hidden side.
“Suna no Tou” first airs this October in Japan.
