Main trailer and poster for movie “My Name is Yours”

Main trailer and poster added for coming-of-age film “My Name is Yours” starring Honoka Matsumoto, Seina Nakata, and Yuki Katayama. The film is based on two novels (“En” & “Blue Hearts wo Kiita Yoru, Kimi to Kiss Shite Sayonara”) by director Momoko Fukuda and also directed by her. Momoko Fukuda previously directed 2019 movie “My Father, the Bride.” Caption on the poster states in Japanese “Hope and despair, 3 seconds before explosion.”

“My Name is Yours” is now set for release July 31, 2020 in Japan.

Two main posters and teaser trailer #4 for OCN drama series “Train”

Here’s two main posters for upcoming OCN drama series “Train” starring Yoon Si-Yoon and Kyung Soo-Jin. The posters emphasizes the parallel worlds in which the story takes place. Caption on the posters states in Korean “One railroad … Crosses into two worlds.” Meanwhile, a fourth teaser trailer, this time featuring Kyung Soo-Jin has been added on AsianWiki.

Takanori Iwata & Mackenyu Arata cast in movie “End roll of the world Nameless”

Takanori Iwata (“J Soul Brothers”/”EXILE”) and Mackenyu Arata are cast in movie “End roll of the world Nameless” (literal title). The film is based on 2013 novel “Na mo Naki Sekai no End Roll” by Kaoru Yukinari and directed by Yuichi Sato. Filming for the movie took place from July, 2019 to August, 2019.

“End roll of the world Nameless” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Kida (Takanori Iwata) and Makoto (Mackenyu Arata) have been friends since they were children. They also both don’t have parents. The two become friends with transfer student Yocchi, who also doesn’t have parents. They spend time together everyday and grow up together. A case takes place when they are 20 years old and it affects their lives tremendously. Years later, Kida works as a negotiator in the criminal world. Makoto works as a trading company CEO in the criminal world. They spent 10 years to take revenge on a world which changed their fate.

Teaser trailer and teaser poster added for movie “Steel Rain 2: Summit” starring Jung Woo-Sung, Kwak Do-Won, and Yoo Yeon-Seok. The film is a sequel to 2017 movie “Steel Rain” and involves the kidnapping of the South Korean president, North Korean leader, and U.S. president. They are then held on a North Korean nuclear submarine.

“Steel Rain 2: Summit” is now set for release sometime this summer in South Korea.

Teaser trailer 2 for tvN drama series “Flower of Evil”

Teaser trailer #2 (two versions) added for tvN drama series “Flower of Evil” starring Lee Joon-Gi and Moon Chae-Won. The first version of teaser trailer #2 has Baek Hee-Sung (Lee Joon-Gi) celebrating his birthday with wife Cha Ji-Won (Moon Chae-Won) and their baby daughter. Around the 15 second mark, Lee Joon-Gi narrates with “I told you a very small lie.” The second version of teaser trailer #2 has Cha Ji-Won watching her husband Baek Hee-Sung and baby daughter playing in their yard. Around the 9 second mark, Moon Chae-Won asks “Who are you?” Meanwhile, above and below are four character posters for the drama series. Below are Jang Hee-Jin as Do Hae-Soo and Seo Hyun-Woo as Kim Moo-Jin.

Taishi Nakagawa cast in NTV drama series “Doting Parent Youth White Paper”

Taishi Nakagawa is cast in NTV drama series “Doting Parent Youth White Paper” (literal title), starring Tsuyoshi Muro & Mei Nagano. For the drama series, Taishi Nakagawa will play Masaharu Hatakeyama. He leaves his hometown in Akita Prefecture to attend a university in Tokyo. This is the same school where father (Tsuyoshi Muro) and daughter (Mei Nagano) attend. The daughter takes an interest in Taishi Nakagawa.

Meanwhile, ep.1 air date for “Doting Parent Youth White Paper has been postponed by 1 month. The drama series was originally scheduled to air July, 2020, but will now air August, 2020. The delay is likely caused by scheduling complications around the Covid-19 outbreak.
