Masataka Kubota & Rie Miyazawa cast in movie “Decisive War Is Sunday”

Masataka Kubota & Rie Miyazawa are cast in movie “Decisive War Is Sunday” (literal title of “Kessen wa Nichiyobi”). The film is written and directed by Yuichiro Sakashita. For the movie, Maataka Kubota will play Tsutomu Tanimura. He works as a secretary for a politician. After he falls ill, the politician’s daughter, played by Rie Miyazawa, runs for his office.

“Decisive War Is Sunday” will be released next year in Japan.

Teaser posters & revised ep.1 air date for OCN drama series “Dark Hole”

Two new teaser posters & revised ep.1 air date set to April 30, 2021 for OCN drama series “Dark Hole” starring Kim Ok-Vin & Lee Joon-Hyuk. Ep. 1 of “Dark Hole” was originally scheduled to air Saturday, April 24, 2021, but was moved to Friday, April 30th, 2021. The drama series will now air on Fridays and Saturdays at 10:50 PM instead of Saturdays and Sundays as originally planned. Caption on the teaser posters states “We face an age of survival.”

Cha Tae-Hyun, Jin Young, & Krystal cast in KBS2 drama “Police Class”

Cha Tae-HyunJin Young, and Krystal are cast for lead roles in KBS2 drama series “Police Class” (literal title). The drama series will have Cha Tae-Hyun play Yoo Dong-Man. He is a former detective and now a professor at the police university. Jin Young and Krystal will play rookie cadets at the police university.

“Police Class” first airs July, 2021 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Monday & Tuesday 9:30 PM time slot after “Blue Spring From A Distance“).

Naohito Fujiki, Michiko Kichise cast in WOWOW drama “Black Swan Lake”

Naohito Fujiki, Michiko KichiseKen Miyake, and Naomi Zaizen are cast in WOWOW drama series “Black Swan Lake.” The drama series is based on 2019 novel “Kokucho no Mizuumi” by Makoto Usami & directed by Kazuyuki Iwata. For the drama seris, Naohito Fujiki will play main character Shota Zaizen. He is a successful CEO, but his daughter gets kidnapped. Michiko Kichise will play his wife Yuko Zaizen.

“Black Swan Lake” will consist of 5 episodes and first air July, 2021 (takes over WOWOW’s Saturday 10PM time slot.

Movie is based on 2015 manga series “Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensaitachi no Renai Zunosen” by Aka Akasaka and is a sequel to 2019 movie “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War.” The teaser begins with captions that state “Love is war.”
