The film, which was first aired on Fukushima Central Television back on October 30, 2020, is also set for release September 10, 2021 in Japan. Toshiaki Karasawa and Yoko Maki are cast in NTV drama series “Voice II.” The drama series is a sequel to 2019 NTV drama series “Voice,” which is a remake of 2017 OCN drama series “Voice” starring Jang Hyuk & Lee Ha-Na. Toshiaki Karasawa and Yoko Maki will reprise their characters of Detective Shogo Higuchi and Emergency Call Center Leader Hikari Tachibana.
“Voice II” will air from July, 2021 in Japan (takes over NTV’s Saturday 10PM time slot after “Life’s Punchline“).

Lee Joon-Ho (2PM) and Lee Se-Young are cast for lead roles in MBC period drama series “The Red Sleeve Cuff” (literal title). For Lee Joon-Ho, this will be his first acting role since he was discharged from the military on March 20, 2021. The drama series is based on novel series “Otsomae Beulgeun Kkeuddong” by Kang Mi-Kang. Lee Joon-Ho will play Crown Prince Lee San. He eventually becomes King Jeongjo. The crown prince meets Lady Sung Deok-Im (Lee Se-Young) and falls in love with her. Lady Sung-Deok-Im is a court lady who wants live her live freely. She pursues her own happiness at the palace and tries to sway away from strife there. Her peaceful life changes after she meets Crown Prince Lee San.
“The Red Sleeve Cuff” first airs sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Arata Iura and Machiko Ono are cast in movie “This is Amiko” (literal title). The movie is based on 2011 novel “Kochira Amiko” by Natsuko Imamura (“Under the Stars“) and directed by Tatsushi Omori. In the movie, Arata Iura and Machiko Ono will play a married couple. Their daughter is title character Amiko. A serious of misfortune hits the family.
Filming will begin July, 2021 in Hiroshima. Auditions to cast main child characters Amiko and Ri-Kun are currently ongoing.

The character teaser trailer shows the different viewpoints of Na Young-Won (Jung So-Min) and Yoo Ja-Sung (Kim Ji-Suk) for a house. Both are asked “What is a house to you?” Na Young-Won answers “A safe heaven after a long and hard day.” Yoo Ja-Sung answers “A house is an investment. I want a house to buy, not to live.”

Shori Sato (‘Sexy Zone’) cast in WOWOW live-action drama series “I Want To Hold Aono-kun So Badly I Could Die.” The drama series is based on manga series “Aono-kun ni Sawaritai kara Shinitai” by Umi Shiina. In the drama series, Shori Sato will play Ryuhei Aono. He is a high school student and begins to date Yuri Kariya, but he dies in a car accident. He comes back as a ghost.

Hana Sugisaki is cast in movie “99.9 Criminal Lawyer: The Movie” co-starring Jun Matsumoto and Teruyuki Kagawa. A new teaser poster for the movie has been also been released with Hana Sugisaki appearing with her co-stars. For the movie, Hana Sugisaki will play Honoka Kono. She is a rookie lawyer and meets Hiroto Miyama (Jun Matsumoto) at her first criminal case. Circumstances leads her to join the Madarame Law Firm, where Hiroto Miyama works.
