Teaser trailer for SBS drama “Racket Boys”

First teaser trailer added for SBS drama series “Racket Boys” (literal title) starring Kim Sang-Kyung & Oh Na-Ra. The teaser trailer begins with the voice of supporting actor Woo Hyeon who plays the local village head. He asks “Where are all the boys who play badminton?” The teaser then shows the various badmintion players including talkative Lee Yong-Tae (Kim Kang-Hoon), leader and attention seeker Bang Yoon-Dam (Son Sang-Yeon), sweet and friendly Na Woo-Chan (Choi Hyun-Wook) and always bluffing Yoon Hae-Kang (Tang Joon-Sang). Above & below are still images of Kim Sang-Kyung and Oh Na-Ra in the drama series.

“Racket Boys” is tentatively scheduled to first air around May, 2021 in South Korea.

Ryohei Suzuki cast in TBS drama “Tokyo MER”

Ryohei Suzuki is cast for the lead role in TBS drama series “Tokyo MER.” For the drama series, Ryohei Suzuki will play Kota Kitami. He leads a team of emergency medical personnel that is call Tokyo Mobile Emergency Room. They travel to accident sites by a large vehicle that even has an operating room. The drama series is scripted by Tsutomu Kuroiwa (“The Dangerous Venus“).

“Tokyo MER” first airs July, 2021 in Japan (takes over TBS’ Sunday 9PM time slot after “Dragon Sakura S2“).

Main trailer & poster for movie “Aloners”

Main trailer and poster added for movie “Aloners” starring Gong Seung-Yeon. Captions in the trailer states (0:31) “Peaceful daily is shaken,” (0:41) “Signal sound of relationship,” (1:00) “Is 1 minute of loneliness okay?” Movie had its world premiere at this year’s Jeonju International Film Festival.

“Aloners” is now set for release May 19, 2021 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer & poster for movie “Masquerade Night”

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Masquerade Night” starring Takuya Kimura & Masami Nagasawa. Movie is based on 2017 novel “Masquerade Night” by Keigo Higashino and is a sequel to 2019 movie “Masquerade Hotel.” The first group of supporting cast members have been announced and they all reprise their respective character from the 2019 movie. The newly announced cast members are Fumiyo Kohinata, Zen Kajihara, Yuki Izumisawa, Eisuke Sasai, Atsuro Watabe, Toshihide Tonesaku, Ren Ishikawa , Shingo Tsurumi, and Ryo Ishibashi.

Koji Seto is cast in WOWOW drama series “Male Copywriter, Takes Paternity Leave” (literal title). The drama series is based on essay “Otoko Copywriter, Ikukyu wo Toru” by Yohei Ugaeri. The drama series will have Koji Seto playing Yosuke Ugaeri. He takes an unusually long 6 month paternity leave to take of care of family issues.

“Male Copywriter, Takes Paternity Leave” airs from July 9, 2021 in Japan.

Yoon Si-Yoon, Hani, & Park Ki-Woong cast in Wavve drama “You Raise Me Up”

Yoon Si-Yoon, Hani, & Park Ki-Woong are cast in Wavve drama series “You Raise Me Up.” Wavve is an online video platform for the South Korean market, started by SK Telecom and South Korea’s three terrestrial networks KBS, MBC, amd SBS. Yoon Si-Yoon will play lead male character Do Yong-Sik. He meets his first love Hani unexpectedly at a urology clinic, but he has a different appearance from his younger days. Filming for the drama series has began recently.

“You Raise Me Up” will be available to stream sometime during summer, 2021 and the drama series will consist of 8 episodes.
