Teaser trailer & supporting cast for movie “And, the Baton Was Passed”

Teaser trailer and supporting cast announced for movie “And, the Baton Was Passed” (literal title) starring Mei Nagano, Kei Tanaka, & Satomi Ishihara. The first batch of announced supporting cast members are Kenshi OkadaNao OmoriMasachika Ichimura, and Kurumi Inagaki.  Meanwhile, the teaser trailer begins with Mei Nagano stating “My last name has changed 4 times.” In the movie, her mother has remarried several times and she now lives with her stepfather. Movie is based on 2018 novel “Soshite, Baton wa Watasareta” by Maiko Seo.

“And, the Baton Was Passed” will be released October 29, 2021 in Japan.

Ep.1 air date set for tvN drama series “Hospital Playlist 2”

Ep.1 air date for tvN drama series “Hospital Playlist 2,” starring Cho Jung-Seok, Yoo Yeon-Seok, Jung Kyoung-Ho, Kim Dae-Myung, & Jeon Mi-Do, is now set for June 17, 2021 in South Korea. Meanwhile, photos above and below are from the first script reading which took place January, 2021. Along with the five lead actors, Kim Hae-SookJung Moon-SungShin Hyun-Bin, Kwak Sun-Young, Ahn Eun-Jin, Moon Tae-Yoo, Choi Young-Joon and Ha Yoon-Kyung also attended the first script reading. “Hospital Playlist 2” is a sequel to 2020 tvN drama series “Hospital Playlist.”

Ji Chang-Wook, Choi Sung-Eun, & Hwang In-Yeop cast in Netflix drama “The Sound of Magic”

Ji Chang-WookChoi Sung-Eun, and Hwang In-Yeop are cast in Netflix drama series “The Sound of Magic.” The drama series is based on 2010 webcomic “Annarasumanara” by Ha Il-Kwon and will be directed by Kim Sung-Yoon (“Itaewon Class“). Ji Chang-Wook will play mysterious magician Lee-Eul. He lives in an abandoned amusement park. Choi Sung-Eun, who most recently starred in JTBC drama series “Beyond Evil,” will play high school student Yoon A-Yi. Hwang In-Yeop will play high school student Na Il-Deung. He is classmates with Yoon A-Yi.

“The Sound of Magic” will be available to stream worldwide on Netflix, but release date has not yet been revealed.

Marie Iitoyo cast in TV Tokyo-Paravi drama “Hinekure Onna no Bocchimeshi”

Marie Iitoyo cast in TV Tokyo-Paravi drama series “Hinekure Onna no Bocchimeshi.” Tokio Emoto is also for the drama series. The drama series, that features an original screenplay, follows Tsugumi Kawamoto (Marie Iitoyo) as she follows an Instagram user White Horse (Tokio Emoto).

“Hinekure Onna no Bocchimeshi” will stream on Paravi from April 29, 2021 and air on TV Tokyo at a later date.

Kim Min-Jae & Park Gyu-Young cast in KBS2 drama “Dal-Ri and Gamjatang”

Kim Min-Jae and Park Gyu-Young are cast for lead roles in KBS2 drama series “Dal-Ri and Gamjatang” (literal title). The drama series is a romantic-comedy, with Kim Min-Jae playing Jin Moo-Hak. His family runs a global restaurant franchise, that started with a gamjatang restaurant. Gamjatang is a Korean stew, featuring pork bone & potatoes. Park Gyu-Young will play Kim Dal-Ri. She comes from a prestigious background. Filming for the drama series will begin this month and the first script reading took place. recently.

“Dal-Ri and Gamjatang” will first air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.
