Kanna Hashimoto is cast in movie “Violence Action”

Kanna Hashimoto is cast in movie “Violence Action.” The movie is based on webcomic “Violence Action” by Renji Asai & Shin Sawada and directed by Toichiro Ruto (“The Way of the Househusband“). In movie “Violence Action,” Kanna Hashimoto will play Kei Kikuno. She is a student at a vocation school and works part-time as a contract killer. Above is a promotional visual of Kanna Hashimoto as Kei Kikuno.

Filming for “Violence Action” finished February, 2021 and will be released sometime during summer, 2022 in Japan.

Trailer & poster for movie “Tonbi”

Trailer and poster added for movie “Tonbi” starring Hiroshi Abe and Takumi Kitamura. Movie is based on 2008 novel “Tonbi” by Kiyoshi Shigematsu and follows 2012 NHK drama special “Tonbi” and 2013 TBS drama series “Tonbi.” Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Hyacinth” by pop-rock duo Yuzu. Theme song “Hyacinth” is played in the main trailer.

“Tonbi” is now set for release April 8, 2022 in Japan.

Yuta Kishi cast in movie “G-Men”

Yuta Kishi (King ＆ Prince) is cast for the lead role in live-action film “G-Men.” The film is based on manga series “G-Men” by Toshio Ozawa and directed by Toichiro Ruto (“The Way of the Househusband“). In the movie “G-Men,” Yuta Kishi will be play high school student Shota Kadomatsu. He wants to find a girlfriend and even transfers to a new school in his pursuit, but he is stuck in G class.

“G-Men” will be released sometime during autumn, 2022 in Japan.

Fuka Koshiba cast in TV Asahi drama “Yokai Housemate 2” & movie version

Fuka Koshiba is cast in TV Asahi sequel drama series “Yokai Housemate 2” and movie version “Yokai Housemate.” Also cast for the sequel drama series and movie are Matsumoto, Katsuya Maiguma, Nobue Iketani and Koji Ookura. All the announced cast members appeared in the original 2020 TV Asahi drama series “Yokai Housemate” and will reprise their respective characters.

Drama series “Yokai Housemate 2” will air April, 2022 and the movie version will be released June, 2022 in Japan.

Mei Nagano cast in movie “My Broken Mariko”

Mei Nagano is cast in movie “My Broken Mariko.” Movie is based on webcomic “My Broken Mariko” by Waka Hirako and directed by Yuki Tanada (“One Million Yen and the Nigamushi Woman“). For the movie, Mei Nagano will play Tomoyo Shiino. She steals the remains of her high school friend, who committed suicide, and goes on a trip.

Filming for “My Broken Mariko” has already finished and the movie will be released sometime this autumn in Japan.

Tsubasa Imai, Takashi Tsukamoto, Juon, & Kenjiro Tsuda cast in movie “Tell Me”

Tsubasa Imai, Takashi Tsukamoto, Juon (FUZZY CONTROL), and Kenjiro Tsuda are cast in music biopic film “Tell Me.” The film is based on nonfiction novel “Kyodai Tsuioku no hide” by Hiroshi Matsumoto and directed by Renpei Tsukamoto (“Boku to Kanojo to Rally to“). The film will have Tsubasa Imai playing Hiroshi. His older brother was the late musician Hide (Juon). Hiroshi teams up with producer I.N.A. (Takashi Tsukamoto) to release Hide’s music.

“Tell Me” will be released this summer in Japan.

Trailer & poster for movie “Radiation House”

Trailer and poster added for live-action film “Radiation House” starring Masataka Kubota & Tsubasa Honda. Movie is based on manga series “Radiation House” by Tomohiro Yokomaku and directed by Masayuki Suzuki. The film also follows 2019 Fuji TV drama series “Radiation House” and its 2021 sequel “Radiation House II.” The movie’s theme song has also been revealed as “More Than Words” by rock band Man With A Mission and that song plays in the main trailer. More supporting cast members have been announced for the film and they are Ikusaburo Yamazaki, Yumi Wakatsuki, Katsumi Takahashi, and Midoriko Kimura.

“Radiation House” will be released April 29, 2022 in Japan.

Teaser trailer added for movie “Sickness That Leads To The Death Penalty” starring Sadao Abe & Kenshi Okada. Movie is based on 2017 novel “Shikei ni Itaru Yamai” by Riu Kushiki and directed by Kazuya Shiraishi (“The Devil’s Path“). The teaser trailer begins with narration that states “One letter which came to a university student.”
