Trailer and poster added for movie “Tokyo MER: Mobile Emergency Room Nankai Mission” starring Ryohei Suzuki, Kento Kaku, and Mahiro Takasugi. The film is a sequel to 2021 TBS drama series “Tokyo MER: Mobile Emergency Room” and 2023 movie “Tokyo MER: Mobile Emergency Room The Movie.” In the new movie version, a Nankai Mobile Emergency Room is established. They travel via ferry to remote islands and have a special vehicle that is equipped with an operating room. A volcano then erupts on a nearby island. Meanwhile, more cast members for the film have been announced and they are Ayami NakajoShinya KoteHayato SanoJesse Lewis and Phongchi.

“Tokyo MER: Mobile Emergency Room Nankai Mission” will be released August 1, 2025 in Japan.

Teaser poster and release date set for movie “Big Deal” starring Yu Hae-Jin and Lee Je-Hoon. Movie is set during the IMF crisis in 1997 and revolves around soju company Kukbo. The company is on the verge of bankruptcy and an employee (Lee Je-Hoon) from a foreign investment company approaches them in hopes to make a deal. Caption on the poster states “In 1997, the Republic of Korea’s national soju brand is about to collapse.”

“Big Deal” is now set for release June 3, 2025.

Teaser poster and air date set for SBS drama series “Spring of Youth” starring Ha Yoo-Joon and Park Ji-Hu. The teaser poster features Ha Yoo-Joon, Park Ji-Hu, Lee Seung-Hyub, Kim Sun-Min, and Seo Hye-Won. They play characters university students who are members of a band club started by Sa Kye (Ha Yoo-Joon). Sa Kye also falls in love with Kim Bom (Park Ji-Hu). Drama series is based on webcomic “Yakhanyoungwoong” by Seo Pae-Seu and is a sequel to 2022 Wavve drama series “Weak Hero Class 1.” In “Weak Hero Class 2,” Yeon Si-Eun (Park Ji-Hoon) transfers to a new high school, Eunjang High School, that is dominated by a gang known as Union.

Hiyori Sakurada and Taisei Kido are cast in live-action film “A Side Character’s Love Story.” Movie is based on manga series “Mobuko no Koi” by Akane Tamura and directed by Hiroki Kazama (“Cheer Boys!!“). Story for the movie, will tell a love story between a somewhat timid young woman and a young man who works part-time at the same supermarket and they attend the same university.

“A Side Character’s Love Story” will be released summer, 2026 in Japan.

Main cast announced for movie “First Ride.”

Kang Ha-Neul, Kim Young-Kwang, Cha Eun-Woo, Kang Young-Seok, and Han Sun-Hwa are cast in movie “First Ride.” The film is a comedy and reunites director Nam Dae-Joong and actor Kang Ha-Neul who previously worked together in 2023 movie “Love Reset.” Movie “First Ride” is setup as a comedy, with each of the five leads playing friends who decide to go on an international trip together. Cha Eun-Woo will perform in his first comedy film as well, as he plays an aspiring DJ.

Filming for “First Ride” began March 21, 2025.
