Yuki Yamada and Arata Furuta cast in movie “Beethoven Netsuzou”

Yuki Yamada and Arata Furuta are cast in movie “Beethoven Netsuzou.” The film is based on 2018 novel “Beethoven Netsuzou Mei Producer wa Uso o Tsuku” by Shiho Kagehara. The movie’s screenplay adaptation is scripted by Bakarhythm (“Wedding High“) and directed by Kazuaki Seki (“Jigoku no Hanazono“). A teaser trailer and poster has also been revealed for the upcoming movie. The teaser trailer can be viewed at AsianWiki. Caption on the poster states “Runaway love changes history.”

Movie is based on 2007 novel “Detchiage Fukuoka Satsujin Kyoshi Jiken no Shinsou” by Masumi Fukuda and directed by Takashi Miike. The film revolves around a case that is based on a true story. Main cast for tvN drama “For the First Love”

Yum Jung-Ah, Park Hae-Joon, Choi Yoon-Ji, & Kim Min-Kyu are cast in tvN drama series “For the First Love” (literal title). The drama series features an original screenplay by Seong Woo-Jin that revolves around a single middle-aged mother and her medical school daughter as their lives suddenly change. They meet a single middle-aged father and his son. Yum Jung-Ah will play the mother, Choi Yoon-Ji will play her daughter, Park Hae-Joon will play the father, and Kim Min-Kyu will play his son.

“For the First Love” will first air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Main cast announced for Disney+ drama “A Shop for Killers S2”

Lee Dong-Wook, Kim Hye-Jun, & Jo Han-Sun are cast in Disney+ drama series “A Shop for Killers S2.” Also set to reprise their roles for the sequel drama series are Geum Hannah (So Min-Hye), Lee Tae-Young (Brother), and Kim Min (Pasin). Cast to play new characters in S2 are Hyunri, Masaki Okada, and Jung Yun-Ha. Actress Yunri will play Q, who is the leader of the East Asian branch of the Babylon mercenary team. Masaki Okada will play J, who is a co-leader of the Babylon East Asian branch and the younger brother of Q. Jung Yun-Ha will play Kusanagi, who is the head of the Babylon East Asian branch.

Filming for “A Shop for Killers S2” has already begun and the drama series is expected to be available to stream sometime in 2026.

Takumi Kitamura, Go Ayano, and Yuta Hayashi are cast in movie “Orokamono no Mibun.” Movie is based on 2019 novel “Orokamono no Mibun” by Jun Nishio and directed by Koto Nagata (“Shanti Days 365 Days, Happy Breath“). The three leads will play young men who are friends and involved in criminal work to sell personal family register information. They try to escape that type of life.
