Hidaka Ukisho (‘Bishounen’) and Sei Shiraishi are cast in live-action film “Mune ga Narunoha Kimi no Sei.” The film is based on manga series of same name by Risa Konno and first time feature film director Hiroto Takahashi. The script depicts a teen romance between Hayato Arima (Hidaka Ukisho) and Tsukasa Shinohara (Sei Shiraishi).
“Mune ga Narunoha Kimi no Sei” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Seo Ji-Hoon, Ro Jong-Hyun, Ahn Ji-Ho, Seo Young-Joo, Kim Yoon-Woo, Jung Woo-Jin, and Jeon Jin-Seo are cast in drama series “Youth.” The script for the drama series is inspired by BU, which is about popular boyband BTS, but mixes fiction and the band member’s true stories. Each of the newly announced cast members will play a member from BTS. Seo Ji-Hoon will play Kim Seok-Jin (Jin), Ro Jong-Hyun will play Min Yoon-Gi (Suga), Ahn Ji-Ho will play Jung Ho-Seok (J-Hope), Seo Young-Joo will pay Kim Nam-Joon (RM), Kim Yoon-Woo wil play Park Ji-Min (Jimin), Jung Woo-Jin will play Kim Tae-Hyung (V), and Jeon Jin-Seo will play Jeon Jung-Kook (Jungkook).
The drama series will first air sometime next year in South Korea, but exact network and date has not yet been decided.

Sota Fukushi is cast in TV Tokyo drama series “In His Chart.” The drama series is based on 2009 novel “Kamisama no Karute” by Sosuke Natsukawa. The 2011 movie “In His Chart,” starring Sho Sakurai & Aoi Miyazaki, is based on the same novel. The drama series version will consist of 4 episodes and each episode will run for 2 hours.
“In His Chart” will first air January, 2021 in Japan.

Trailer added for movie “Awake” starring Ryo Yoshizawa, Ryuya Wakaba, Motoki Ochiai. The film revolves around the board game Go, but with the added twist of an AI program that goes up against a top player. Movie is written and directed by Atsuhiro Yamada.

First teaser trailer added for crime-thriller film “Confession” (literal title) starring So Ji-Sub, Kim Yunjin, & Nana. Movie is directed by Yoon Jong-Seok (“Marine Boy“). Captions in the teaser trailer states in Korean (0:22) “Case of a murder in a sealed room,” (0:31) “All the evidence points to him,” (0:36) “Rearranged,” (0:40) “Piece of the case.”
Release date has not yet been revealed, except that it is “Coming Soon.” Expect the film to be released sometime before the end of the year in South Korea.

Tatsuya Fujiwara and Yoko Maki are cast in Fuji TV drama series “School Police.” The drama series features an original screenplay written by Tetsuya Oishi, Junpei Yamaoka, & Soichiro Ojima. Setup for the drama series has Tokyo implementing a new police system for middle schools. Detective Ryuhei Shimada (Tatsuya Fujiwara) takes part in the school police program and is assigned to work at Akamine Middle School. Yoko Maki will play Japanese language teacher Ryoko Asamura, who works at Akamine Middle School.
“School Police” first airs January, 2021 (takes over Fuji TV’s Tuesday 9PM time slot after “Our Sister’s Soulmate“).

Jung Ji-So and Lee Jun-Young (U-KISS) are cast for lead roles in KBS2 drama series “Imitation.” The drama series is based on webcomic “Imitation” by Park Kyung-Ran. Also cast for supporting roles are Park Ji-Yeon (T-ara), Kang Chan-Hee (SF9), Minseo, Lim Na-Young, Jong Ho (ATEEZ), Hwi Young (SF9), Yu Ri, An Jung-Hoon, Yun Ho (ATEEZ), Lee Su-Woong, Seong Hwa (ATEEZ), San (ATEEZ), Danny Ahn and Shim Eun-Jin. The drama series revolves around idol group members.

In addition, supporting cast members have announced for the film. The new supporting cast members are Nobuyuki Suzuki, Keisuke Watanabe, Tatsuomi Hamada, Jin Suzuki, Shodai Fukuyama, Hiroki Iijima, Takuro Osada, and Suguru Adachi. Movie is based on manga series “Gunjyo Senki” by Masaki Kasahara.

Sol Kyung-Gu & Do Kyung-Soo are cast in movie “The Moon” (working title). The film will be directed by popular director Kim Yong-Hwa (“Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds“). The story for the film will revolve around someone on Earth trying to save a man in outer space. Sol Kyung-Gu will play the man on Earth and Do Kyung-Soo will play the man trapped in outerspace. Meanwhile, Do Kyung-Soo is currently enlisted in the South Korean military and is scheduled to be discharged on January 25, 2021. Filming for “The Moon” will start sometime after that.
