Main trailer for movie “Underdog”

Main trailer added for boxing film “Underdog” starring Mirai Moriyama & Takumi Kitamura. The film also features the pairing of director Masaharu Take and screenwriter Shin Adachi. They previously collaborated on 2014 award-winning boxing film “100 Yen Love.” Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Flowers” by singer Huwie Ishizaki. Theme song “Flowers” is also featured in the main trailer. Also, more castings has been announced for the film. “Underdog” will be released November 27, 2020 in Japan.

Teaser poster & release date for movie “Awake”

Teaser poster and release date added for movie “Awake” starring Ryo Yoshizawa and Ryuya Wakaba. The film is written and directed by Atsuhiro Yamada (“Happy Ending“). Caption on the teaser poster states in Japanese “That is the best feeling that I have experienced, after waking up from the bottom.” The film follows Ryo Yoshizawa as Eiichi. He once aspired to become a shogi player and trained hard for it, but he now writes shogi software programs. He faces an old nemesis in shogi player Riku played by Ryuya Wakaba.

“Awake” is now set for release December 25, 2020 in Japan.

Ep.1 trailer and character posters added for tvN drama series “Tale of the Nine Tailed” starring Lee Dong-Wook, Jo Bo-Ah, & Kim Beom. The three character posters are of Lee Dong-Wook as Lee Yeon, Jo Bo-Ah as Nam Ji-A, and Kim Beom as Lee Rang. The drama series follows Nam Ji-A, who works as a TV documentary producer. Her own parents died in a mysterious accident and she was saved by a man named Yeon. Now, 20 years after that accident, she meets Yeon (Lee Dong-Wook) again and he looks as if he hasn’t aged a day since the accident.

Seo Hyun-Jin to make cameo in tvN drama “Record of Youth”

Seo Hyun-Jin is set to make a cameo appearance in tvN drama series “Record of Youth” starring Park Bo-Gum, Park So-Dam, and Byeon Woo-Seok. Seo Hyun-Jin’s cameo appearance will take place in ep.7, which airs later tonight, Monday, September 28, 2020 in South Korea and worldwide via Netflix. For her cameo appearance, Seo Hyun-Jin will play top actress Lee Hyun-Soo. Her character acts with Sa Hye-Jun (Park Bo-Gum) and she also gives him advice. Her advice motivates Sa Hye-Jun’s dream of becoming an actor. Seo Hyun-Jin and “Record of Youth” screenwriter Ha Myung-Hee previously worked together in 2017 SBS drama series “Temperature of Love.”

Actress Yuko Takeuchi found deceased September 27th

Actress Yuko Takeuchi was found deceased around 2AM on September 27, 2020 by her actor husband Taiki Nakabayashi. Her husband found Yuko Takeuchi hanging at their home in Shibuya, Tokyo. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department are investigating her death as a suicide. Yuko Takeuchi has starred in many award winning films and drama series like “The Queen of Lunchtime Cuisine,” “Be with You,” “Strawberry Night,” and “A Long Goodbye.” Our condolences goes out to her family and friends.
