Tang Wei & Park Hae-Il cast in movie “The Decision to Break Up”

Tang WeiPark Hae-IlLee Jung-HyunKo Gyung-Pyo and Park Yong-Woo are all cast in Park Chan-Wook directed film “The Decision to Break Up” (literal title). Tang Wei and Park Hae-Il will play main characters Seo-Rae and Detective Hae-Joon respectively. The film will revolve around the death of a man that took place on a mountain. His wife Seo-Rae becomes a suspect. Cast for supporting roles are Lee Jung Hyun as Jung-An (wife of Detective Hae-Joon), Ko Gyung-Pyo as Soo-Wan (Detective Hae-Joon’s partner), and Park Yong-Woo as Ho-Shin.

Filming for “The Decision to Break Up” will begin October, 2020.

Miho Kanno cast in NTV drama “My Daughter Doesn’t Have A Boyfriend”

Miho Kanno is cast for the lead role in NTV drama series “My Daughter Doesn’t Have A Boyfriend” (literal title of “Uchi no Musume wa Kareshi ga Dekinai”). The drama series features an original screenplay by Eriko Kitagawa (“Hundred Million Stars From the Sky“) and directed by Seiichi NagumoHidemi Uchida. For the drama series, Miho Kanno will play successful romance novelist Aoi Minase. She worries about her 20-year-old daughter who is an otaku and doesn’t have a boyfriend.

“My Daughter Doesn’t Have A Boyfriend” first airs January, 2021 in Japan (takes over NTV’s Wednesday 10PM time slot after “RemoteLove“).

Ryoma Takeuchi is cast in NTV drama series “With You on the Day the World Ends” (literal title) and Hulu sequel drama series “With You on the Day the World Ends Season 2.” The drama series is co-produced by NTV and Hulu, with NTV’s season 1 having 10 episodes and Hulu’s season 2 having 6 episodes. The screenplay is an original script written by Natsuko Ikeda (“Tower of Sand“) and directed by Shintaro Sugawara.

“With You on the Day the World Ends” will first air January, 2021 in Japan (takes over NTV’s Sunday 10:30 PM time slot after “The Way of the Househusband.”).

Kim Ok-Vin & Lee Joon-Hyuk cast in OCN drama “Dark Hole”

Kim Ok-Vin and Lee Joon-Hyuk are cast for lead roles in OCN drama series “Dark Hole.” The drama series features Kim Ok-Vin playing Seoul Detective Lee Hwa-Sun. She chases after her husband’s killer. The script will have her traveling to a city where Yoo Tae-Han (Lee Joon-Hyuk) lives. A mysterious dark smoke there causes people to turn into monsters. The drama series is directed by Kim Bong-Joo (“The Phone“) and scripted by  Jung Yi-Do (“Save Me“/”Strangers From Hell“).

“Dark Hole” first airs during the first half of 2021 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer #3 added for MBC drama series “The Spies Who Loved Me” starring Yoo In-Na, Eric, & Lim Ju-Hwan. Yoo In-Na’s narration at the start of the trailer states in Korean (0:01-0:25) “I have two husbands. On one side is my ex-husband, like an enemy.
