Lee Kwang-Soo, Seol Hyun, & Jin Hee-Kyung cast in tvN drama “The Murderer’s Shopping List”

Lee Kwang-SooSeol Hyun, and Jin Hee-Kyung are cast in new tvN drama series “The Murderer’s Shopping List” (literal title). The drama series is a mystery-comedy involving a murder case that takes nearby a grocery store. Jin Hee-Kyung plays Jung Myung-Sook, who owns the grocery store. Lee Kwang-Soo will play Ahn Dae-Sung, who is Jung Myung-Sook’s son and part-time worker at the grocery store. Seol Hyun will play Do A-Hee. She is a police officer and girlfriend of Ahn Dae-Sung.

“The Murderer’s Shopping List” will air sometime in the first half of 2022 in South Korea.

Riho Yoshioka & Tomoya Nakamura cast in movie “Haken Anime”

Riho Yoshioka and Tomoya Nakamura are cast in movie “Haken Anime.” The film is based on novel “Haken Anime!” by Mizuki Tsujimura and directed by Kohei Yoshino (“Gone Wednesday“). Also cast in supporting roles are Tasuku Emoto & Machiko Ono. The movie is set in the competitive anime industry, with the two leads directing anime films that are set for release at the same time. “Haken Anime” will be released May, 2022 in Japan.

Lim Soo-Hyang cast in MBC drama “Dr. Lawyer”

Lim Soo-Hyang is cast for the lead female role in MBC drama series “Dr. Lawyer” starring So Ji-Sub. For “Dr. Lawyer,” Lim Soo-Hyang will play Geum Seok-Young. She works as a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office and deals with medical cases. In her past, she lost a family member and a lover due to a surgery performed by Han Yi-Han (So Ji-Sub). 

“Dr. Lawyer” will air sometime in the first half of 2022 in South Korea.

Mana Ashida and Nobuko Miyamoto are cast in movie “BL Metamorphosis.” The film is based on webcomic “Metamorphose no Engawa” by Kaori Tsurutani and directed by Shunsuke Kariyama (“Humanoid Monster, Bem“). The movie depicts an unlikely friendship between a 17-year-old girl and a 78-year-old widow. They both share a love of boy’s love manga. Filming for the movie has already completed.

Ryoma Takeuchi & Ryusei Yokohama are cast in movie “Akira and Akira.” The movie is based on novel “Akira to Akira” by Jun Ikeido (“Naoki Hanzawa“) and was previously adapted into 2017 WOWOW drama series “Akira and Akira.” The movie will follow two men with the same given name of Akira who are new employees at the same bank. Their backgrounds are completely different, but their fates begin to change.

Filming of the movie began July, 2021 and finished September, 2021. “Akira and Akira” will be released summer, 2022.

Park Shin-Hye & Choi Tae-Joon to marry January 22nd

According to their respective management companies, Park Shin-Hye and Choi Tae-Joon will hold a private wedding ceremony on January 22, 2022 in Seoul. Park Shin-Hye is currently pregnant with their first child. Their relationship was first announced on March 7, 2018, when the couple went public with their relationship. They stated their relationship developed romantically from late 2017. Congratulations to the couple.
