Shin Hye-Sun and Lee Jun-Young (U-KISS) are cast in movie “Brave Citizen” (literal title). Movie is based on webcomic “Yongamhan Shimin” by Kim Jung-Hyun & directed by Park Jin-Pyo (“You Are My Sunshine“).
The film is set at a high school and Shin Hye-Sun will play main character So Shi-Min. She works a contract teacher and only thinks about becoming a full time teacher. Lee Jun-Young will play Han Soo-Gang. He is a troubled student at the high school and gets into a confrontation with So Shi-Min.
Filming for “Brave Citizen” will begin December, 2021 and the movie’s release date has not yet been set, but discussions are under way to have the film released on the Wavve online streaming platform as an original film.

Jin Goo, Ha Do-Kwon, and Lee Won-Geun are cast in OCN drama series “Superior Day” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Uwolhan Halu” by Team Getname. Jin Goo will play lead character Lee Ho-Cheol. His daughter is kidnapped and he receives a text message to kill someone that lives next door to him. Ha Do-Kwon will play Bae Tae-Jin. He is a hired killer and his target is a serial killer. Lee Won-Geun will play Kwon Shi-Woo. He is the person that lives next door and he is a serial killer.

Haru Kuroki is cast for the lead role in Fuji TV drama series “Gossip.” The drama series is set within an online news website that only thinks about increasing page views. Haru Kuroki will play Ririko Seko. She is transferred to the editorial department at the online news website.

First teaser poster added for movie “Kingmaker” starring Sol Kyung-Gu & Lee Sun-Kyun. Caption on the poster teases “Two men who want to change the world. A fierce election battle begins.” The film is “motivated” by political strategist Eom Chang-Rok, who worked for opposition party candidate Kim Dae-Jung in the late 1960’s-early 1970’s and then switched sides to work for military dictator Park Chung-Hee’s presidential campaign. Filming for “Kingmaker” took place from March 25, 2019 to July 30, 2019.
“Kingmaker” is now scheduled for release December, 2021 in South Korea.

Kiichi Nakai, Kenichi Matsuyama and Keiko Kitagawa are cast in movie “Taiga e no Michi.” The film is inspired by Shinosuke Tatekawa’s rakugo performance “Ino Tadataka Monogatari: Taiga e no Michi,” which was first performed in 2011. The movie will take place in the present day and also around the year 1821, as a drama series production uncovers a secret about the first person(s) to map Japan.
