First teaser trailer for tvN drama “Ghost Doctor”

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Ghost Doctor” starring Rain & Kim Beom. The first teaser trailer focuses on the two lead male characters of Cha Young-Min (Rain) and Go Seung-Tak (Kim Beom). Cha Young-Min is a skilled doctor, but he is arrogant and selfish. Go Seung-Tak is a medical resident, but he doesn’t have a sense of duty as a doctor or passion for the work. Below are still images of both characters.

“Ghost Doctor” first airs  January 3, 2022 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 10:30 PM time slot after “Secret Royal Inspector & Joy“).

First teaser trailer for KakaoTV drama series “Pumpkin Time” starring Shin Hyun-Seung & Lee Soo-Min. The drama series is based on webcomic “Pumpkin Time” by Gae Da-Rae. Lee Soo-Min plays a high school student that transitioned from male to female in her past. Shin Hyun-Seung plays a young man that he went overseas during his childhood. He returns to South Korea.

“Pumpkin Time” will stream from December 17, 2021 in South Korea.

Jung Ryeo-Won & Lee Kyu-Hyung cast in drama “Start Defense”

Jung Ryeo-Won and Lee Kyu-Hyung are cast in new drama series “Start Defense” (literal title). The drama series will have Jung Ryeo-Won and Lee Kyu-Hyung play lawyers, who share an office as public defenders. They don’t get along well, but work on a case involving a serial killer. Filming for the drama series is scheduled to begin January, 2022.

“Start Defense” is currently having discussions to premiere sometime in the second half of 2022 via an OTT platform, but more specifics have not yet been revealed.

Masaki Suda & Mieko Harada cast in movie “Hyakka”

Masaki Suda and Mieko Harada are cast in movie “Hyakka.” Movie is written and directed by Genki Kawamura (“If Cats Disappeared From the World“). The film deals with an adult son played by Masaki Suda as he takes care of his mother played by Mieko Harada with Alzheimer’s. The son can’t forget something that happened in their past. In addition, the first teaser trailer for the movie has been added on AsianWiki.

“Hyakka” will be released September 9, 2022 in Japan.

Nozomi Sasaki cast in TV Tokyo drama “Youtuber ni Musume wa Yaran”

Nozomi Sasaki is cast for the lead role in TV Tokyo drama series “Youtuber ni Musume wa Yaran.” Also cast in the drama series are Nobuaki Kaneko, Junki Tozuka, Yumi Wakatsuki, and Kenichi Endo. The drama series will have Nozomi Sasaki play Chisa Taira. She gets involved in a love triangle with characters played by Nobuaki Kaneko & Junki Tozuka.
