Tomohisa Yamashita cast in Fuji TV drama “Blue Moment”

Tomohisa Yamashita is cast for the lead role in Fuji TV drama series “Blue Moment.” The drama series is based on webcomic “Blue Moment” by Kana Ozawa. For drama series “Blue Moment,” Tomohisa Yamashita will play Kankuro Haruhara. He is the chief weather researcher at the Special Disaster Response Headquarters. He is able to use his vast knowledge on meteorology and process vast amounts of data to stay ahead of the curve during difficult times.

“Blue Moment” will first air April, 2024 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Wednesday 10PM time slot after “Konkatsu 1000 Knock“).

Main trailer for movie “Alienoid: Part 2”

Main trailer added for movie “Alienoid: Part 2” starring Ryoo Joon-Yeol, Kim Woo-Bin, and Kim Tae-Ri. The film is a sequel to 2022 movie “Alienoid.” Main trailer for “Alienoid: Part 2” begins with Kim Tae-Ri stating “We need the divine blade to go back to the future.” Captions in the main trailer states (0:24) “Everyone chases the divine blade,” (1:01) “The door to time opens again,” (1:15) “Finally, all the secrets are revealed.” 

“Alienoid: Part 2” will be released  January 10, 2024 in South Korea.

Trailer for Channel A drama “Between Him and Her”

Trailer added for Channel A drama series “Between Him and Her” starring Lee Dong-Hae and Lee Seol. The drama series is based on webcomic “Namgwa Yeo” by Hyeo No. The trailer begins with Jung Hyun-Sung (Lee Dong-Hae) and Han Sung-Ok (Lee Seol) meeting face to face by the elevator at a motel. They are in a relationship together, but they are both accompanied by another person. Voices in the trailer states (0:01) Lee Dong-Hae “Where did it go wrong?,” (0:16) Lee Dong-Hae “7 years of dating. As comfortable as it is familiar and as boring as it is comfortable,” (0:57) Lee Seol “What am I to you. I am just telling you to think about me at least once.”

“Between Him and Her” will first air December 26, 2023 in South Korea.

MBC to air drama “Wonderful World”

MBC to air drama series “Wonderful World” starring Kim Nam-Joo & Cha Eun-Woo. The drama series will air in MBC’s Friday and Saturday 9:50 PM time slot from March, 2024, following the conclusion of “Knight Flower.” In addition, Kim Kang-Woo and Lim Se-Mi are now cast to play major supporting characters in the drama series.

Kim Kang-Woo will play Kang Soo-Ho. He is married to Eun Soo-Hyun (Kim Nam-Joo) and works as an anchorman. He loves his wife Eun Soo-Hyun and their son with all his heart, but after their son’s death his life is shaken.  Lim Se-Mi will play Han Yoo-Ri. She is a close friend of Eun Soo-Hyun.

Teaser trailer and poster for movie “Ikoku Nikki”

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Ikoku Nikki” starring Yui Aragaki and Ikoi Hayase. The film is directed by Natsuki Seta (“Parks“) and based on manga series “Ikoku Nikki” by Tomoko Yamashita. The teaser trailer begins with Yui Aragaki as Makio Kodai telling her niece, whom she meets at a funeral, “I hated your mother with all my heart, but I will never trample on you. If you don’t have a place to stay, you can stay with me.”

“Ikoku Nikki” is now scheduled for release June, 2024 in Japan.

The two teaser trailers are named “reverse teasers,” with the first teaser teaser having Cho Jung-Seok asking (0:!6) “Do you also think that I am crazy?” and the second teaser trailer having Shin Se-Kyung stating (0:16) “When I am in love, I want you to live. Teaser trailer 1 added for MBC drama series “Knight Flower” starring Lee Ha-Nee and Lee Jong-Won. Teaser trailer 1 starts with Lee Ha-Nee as Jo Yeo-Hwa stating “If someone does something bad,” (0:15) “I go over the wall every night and fight against them, risking my life.” An anonymous voice then states at the 22 second mark “I call the woman Night Blooming Flower.” The drama series follow Jo Yeo-Hwa, who is a widow and at night dons a uniform and becomes a hero for the weak.

“Knight Flower” will first air January 12, 2024 in South Korea.

Character posters and release date set for action-comedy film “Citizen of a Kind” starring Ra Mi-Ran, Gong Myung, & Yum Hye-Ran. The 7 character posters are Ra Mi-Ran, Gong Myung, Yum Hye-Ran, Park Byung-Eun, Jang Yoon-Ju, Ahn Eun-Jin, & Lee Mu-Saeng. Captions on the character posters states “If no one can catch you, we will catch you,” except for Lee Mu-Saeng’s poster which asks “Who, Me?”
