Teaser trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “Gyeongseong Creature” starring Park Seo-Joon & Han So-Hee. The period action film is set in the year 1945 and follows two people who investigate a series of missing person cases. The teaser poster states “All suspicions led to Ongseong Hospital. There were humans and creatures there.”

“Gyeongseong Creature” Part 1 will be available to stream December 22, 2023 and its sequel will be available to stream January 5, 2024.

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “My Home Hero” starring Kuranosuke Sasaki, Kyohei Takahashi, & Asuka Saito. Movie is a sequel to 2023 TBS drama series “My Home Hero.” Story for the movie picks up where the drama series ended. Kuranosuke Sasaki plays Tetsuo Tosu. He is a father who kills his daughter’s boyfriend to protect her. Caption on the teaser poster states “Daughter, I killed your boyfriend.”

“My Home Hero” will be released March 8, 2024 in Japan.

Maki Fukuda cast in Fuji TV drama “Konkatsu 1000 Knock”

Maki Fukuda is cast in Fuji TV drama series “Konkatsu 1000 Knock.” For Maki Fukuda, who is a member comedy trio “3ji no Heroine,” “Konkatsu 1000 Knock,” will be her first starring role in a drama series. The drama series is based on novel “Konkatsu 1000 Hon Knock” by Ayako Minami and will have Maki Fukuda play 33 year old struggling writer Ayako Minami. She tries to find a husband, with a ghost named Yamada giving her advice.

“Konkatsu 1000 Knock” will first air January, 2024 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Wednesday 10 PM time slot after “Ya Boy Kongming!“).

Trailer and poster for movie “Aru Tozasareta Yuki no Sanso de”

Trailer and poster added for suspense film “Aru Tozasareta Yuki no Sanso de” starring Daiki Shigeoka, Ayami Nakajo, and Amane Okayama. Movie is based on 1992 novel  “Aru Tozasareta Yuki no Sanso de” by famous mystery writer Keigo Higashino (“Suspect X“) and directed by Ken Iizuka (“Enokida Trading Post“). The trailer shows 7 young theater actors who have gathered at a snowy mountain villa for a final audition. They are not allowed contact with the outside world during their stay. Around the 16 second mark in the trailer, one of the participants disappears and leaves behind a bloody vase.

“Aru Tozasareta Yuki no Sanso de” will be released January 12, 2024 in Japan.

Trailer and poster added for Coupang Play drama series “Boyhood” (literal title) starring Im Si-Wan and Lee Sun-Bin. The trailer begins with Jang Byeong-Tae’s (Im Si-Wan) less than ideal daily life, but after he transfers to a new school, his life changes completely. He suddenly becomes the best fighter from Asan with the nickname White Tiger. As the trailer ends, Jung Kyeong-Tae (Lee Si-Woo), who is the real White Tiger, is shown walking to Jang Byeong-Tae’s classroom as a new student.

“Boyhood” will be available to stream from November 24, 2023.

Riho Sayashi, Rio Asumi, and Satoshi Hashimoto cast in TV Tokyo drama “Oshi wo Meshiagare”

Riho Sayashi, Rio Asumi, and Satoshi Hashimoto are cast in TV Tokyo drama series “Oshi wo Meshiagare.” The drama series is based on 2023 novel “Reiwa Bulgaria Yogurt” by Ayako Miyagi. Riho Sayashi will play Yuzu Hodaishi. She became a big fan of a novel about yogurt, while she looked for a job and eventually got hired by a food company. Rio Asumi will play Itsumi Midori. She works with Yuzu Hodaishi in the PR department for the food company. Satoshi Hashimoto will play I, who is yogurt bacteria and follows Itsumi Midori.

“Oshi wo Meshiagare” will first air January 10, 2024 in Japan.

Mugi Kadowaki, Ren Nagase, and Nao Omori cast in NTV drama “Alice in Wonderful Kitchen”

Mugi Kadowaki, Ren Nagase, and Nao Omori are cast in NTV drama series “Alice in Wonderful Kitchen.” The drama series is scripted by Shinya Tamada (“Sweet Moratorium“) and directed by Noriyoshi Sakuma (“Dr. Chocolate“) and Yuma Suzuki (“The Greatest Teacher“). In “Alice in Wonderful Kitchen,” Mugi Kadowaki will play main character Alice Yaemori. She has autism and runs the restauarant Alice’s Kitchen. She loves chemistry and she uses that knowledge to create dishes that amazes.

“Alice in Wonderful Kitchen” first airs January, 2024 in Japan (takes over NTV’s Sunday 10:30 PM time slot after “Sexy Tanaka-san“).

Cho Jin-Woong cast in drama “No Way Out”

Actor Cho Jin-Woong is cast in drama series “No Way Out” co-starring Yoo Jae-Myung, Kim Moo-Yul, & Lee Kwang-Soo. Cho Jin-Woong replaces actor  Lee Sun-Kyun, who dropped out of the drama series in late October due to a widely publicized drug scandal. Filming for the drama series began prior to Lee Sun-Kyun’s departure, but he did not film any scenes and production halted while his replacement was sought. With Cho Jin-Woong now cast as main character Baek Joong-Sik, filming will restart November 23, 2023.

Teaser trailer 4 for SBS drama “My Demon”

Teaser trailer 4 added for SBS drama series “My Demon” starring Kim You-Jung and Song Kang. The fantasy-romance drama series revolves around a 200 year old demon played by Song Kang and a wealthy heiress played by Kim You-Jung. Teaser trailer 4 begins with an anonymous voice asking “Demon? It’s a crazy thing to marry a human. What’s the reason?” This is followed by Kim You-Jung stating “You need your tattoo and I need your ability. It’s the only way for both of us to be good for each other.”

“My Demon” first airs November 24, 2023 in South Korea.

Main trailer and poster added for live-action film “Let’s Go Karaoke!” starring Go Ayano and Jun Saito. The film is directed by Nobuhiro Yamashita (“Linda Linda Linda“) and based on manga series “Karaoke Iko!” by Yama Wayama. Caption on the poster states “I wish I could extend my youth.” The movie’s theme song has also been announced as “Kurenai” by girl group Little Glee Monster.
