Teaser trailer 1 for MBC drama “Knight Flower”

Teaser trailer 1 added for MBC drama series “Knight Flower” starring Lee Ha-Nee and Lee Jong-Won. Teaser trailer 1 starts with Lee Ha-Nee as Jo Yeo-Hwa stating “If someone does something bad,” (0:15) “I go over the wall every night and fight against them, risking my life.” An anonymous voice then states at the 22 second mark “I call the woman Night Blooming Flower.” The drama series follow Jo Yeo-Hwa, who is a widow and at night dons a uniform and becomes a hero for the weak.

“Knight Flower” will first air January 12, 2024 in South Korea.

Character posters and release date for movie “Citizen of a Kind”

Character posters and release date set for action-comedy film “Citizen of a Kind” starring Ra Mi-Ran, Gong Myung, & Yum Hye-Ran. The 7 character posters are Ra Mi-Ran, Gong Myung, Yum Hye-Ran, Park Byung-Eun, Jang Yoon-Ju, Ahn Eun-Jin, & Lee Mu-Saeng. Captions on the character posters states “If no one can catch you, we will catch you,” except for Lee Mu-Saeng’s poster which asks “Who, Me?”

“Citizen of a Kind” will be released January 24, 2024 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Missing” starring Satomi Ishihara, Tomoya Nakamura, and Munetaka Aoki. Movie is written and directed by Keisuke Yoshida (“Come On Irene“). The drama film revolves around a mother and father who endure the disappearance of their young daughter. The mother also endures public scrutiny because her daughter disappeared while she was attending an idol concert.

“Missing” will be released May 17, 2024 in Japan.

Kento Yamazaki, Ryo Yoshizawa, and Kanna Hashimoto are cast in movie “Kingdom 4.” The live-action film is based on manga series manga series “Kingdom” by Yasuhisa Hara and will be directed by Shinsuke Sato (who directed the previous 3 “Kingdom” films). Also cast to play new characters in “Kingdom 4” are Koji Kikkawa and Shun Oguri. MEanwhile, the first teaser trailer has been added on AsianWiki.

“Kingdom 4” will be released July 12, 2024 in Japan.

Jung Hae-In cast in tvN drama “Mom’s Friend’s Son”

Jung Hae-In is cast for the lead male role in tvN drama series “Mom’s Friend’s Son” (literal title). The drama series is a romantic-comedy and pairs director Yoo Je-Won and screenwriter Shin Ha-Eun, whom previously worked together in 2021 tvN drama series “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.” Meanwhile, actress Jung So-Min has been offered the lead female role and she is currently considering the offer. In “Mom’s Friend’s Son,” Jung Hae-In will play Choi Seung-Hyo. He grew up with a girl named Bae Seok-Ryu, because his mom was good friends with her mom. They meet as adults.

“Mom’s Friend’s Son” will air sometime during the second half of 2024 in South Korea.

Sara Shida and Kanata Hongo are cast in NTV live-action drama series “Kesenai Watashi.” The revenge themed drama series is based on manga series  “Kesenai Watashi: Enjo Shitsuzukeru Digital Tattoo” by Shinobu Kuroda. Sara Shida will play the lead role of Shoko Haibara. Her life is ruined by her high school school classmates. 10 years later and instead of taking her own life, she decides to get revenge.

“Kesenai Watashi” first airs January 5, 2024 in Japan.

Hikari Mitsushima and Masaki Okada cast in movie “Last Mile”

Hikari Mitsushima and Masaki Okada are cast in suspense film “Last Mile.” Movie is directed by Ayuko Tsukahara and scripted Akiko Nogi. The director and screenwriter previously worked together on 2018 TBS drama series “Unnatural” and 2020 TBS drama series “MIU 404.” The film will have Hikari Mitsushima and Masaki Okada play employees at a large package distribution center.
