Teaser trailer 3 for JTBC drama “The Atypical Family”

Teaser trailer 3 added for JTBC drama series “The Atypical Family” starring Jang Ki-Yong and Chun Woo-Hee. The fantasy-romance drama has Chun Woo-Hee as Do Da-Hae meeting the very atypical family of Jang Ki-Yong as Bok Gwi-Joo. Narration in the teaser trailer goes (0:02) Soo-Hyun “My family isn’t normally like this,” (0:10) Chun Woo-Hee “Bok Man-Heum can see the future. Bok Dong-Hee can fly. Junichi Okada cast in Netflix drama “Last Samurai Standing”

Junichi Okada is cast in Netflix drama series “Last Samurai Standing.” Junichi Okada will also serve as producer and action director for the drama series. “Last Samurai Standing” is based on 2022 novel “Ikusagami Ten” and 2023 novel “Ikusagami Ji” by Shogo Imamura. Story for the drama series is set in the late Meiji period, with 292 samurais taking part in a deadly battle royale for a huge prize.

“Last Samurai Standing” will be available to stream sometime later this year.

Yuya Yagira & Yuina Kuroshima cast in movie “Arata Natsume Getting Married”

Yuya Yagira and Yuina Kuroshima are cast in movie “Arata Natsume Getting Married.” The film is based on manga series “Natsume Arata no Kekkon” by Taro Nogizaka and directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi (“Sanada 10 Braves“). Meanwhile, the first teaser trailer and teaser poster has been added on AsianWiki. The teaser trailer starts with Yuya Yagira as Arata Natsume staring through the glass in a prison visitation room and proposing to serial killer Shinju Shinagawa played by Yuina Kuroshima.

“Arata Natsume Getting Married” will be released September 6, 2024 in Japan.

Teaser trailer & poster for movie “Honeko Akabane’s Bodyguards”

Teaser trailer and poster added for live-action film “Honeko Akabane’s Bodyguards” starring Raul and Natsuki Deguchi. Movie is based on manga series “Akabane Honeko no Bodyguard” by Masamitsu Nigatsu and directed by Junichi Ishikawa. Lead female actress Natsuki Deguchi and supporting actors Daiken Okudaira and Hikaru Takahashi were announced today as appearing in the film. Character posters of Natsuki Deguchi as Honeko Akabane, Daiken Okudaira as Sumihiko Somejima, and Hikaru Takahashi as Nei Togeya are below.

“Honeko Akabane’s Bodyguards” will be released August 2, 2024 in Japan.

Two main posters added for tvN drama series “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” starring Jung Ryeo-Won & Wi Ha-Joon. The romance drama series is set at a private academy set in Daechi-dong, Gangnam, Seoul. Jung Ryeo-Won and Wi Ha-Joon play two instructors at the private academy who have feelings for each other. Lee Joon-Ho, Kim Hye-Jun, Kim Byung-Chul, & Kim Hyang-Gi are cast in Netflix drama series “Cashero.” Drama series is based on webcomic “Cashero” by team befar and directed by Lee Chang-Min (“Agency“). For
“Cashero,” Lee Joon-Ho will play Kang Sang-Woong. He has superhuman strength that relies on him having cash to use. Kim Hye-Jun will play Kim Min-Sook. She is the girlfriend of Kang Sang-Woong. Kim Byung-Chul and Kim Hyang-Gi will play characters who have supernatural powers and they work with Kang Sang-Woong in fighting against an evil organization.

Release date for “Cashero” has not yet been announced.

Launching teaser trailer and release date set for comedy film “Pilot” starring Cho Jung-Seok, Lee Joo-Myoung, & Han Sun-Hwa. The film is Cho Jung-Seok first performance on the big screen since 2019 movie “Exit.” Movie “Pilot” is a comedy directed by Kim Han-Gyul (“Crazy Romance“) and has Cho Jung-Seok taking his sister’s identity to find another job as a pilot. The launching teaser has Cho Jung-Seok stating “I am Captain Han Jung-Mi who will take you safely to your destination.”

“Pilot” will be released July 31, 2024 in South Korea.

Comedy film “Handsome Guys” set for release summer 2024

Movie “Handsome Guys,” starring Lee Sung-Min, Lee Hee-Jun, & Gong Seung-Yeon, is set for release summer, 2024 in South Korea. The comedy film follows the two lead male actors who call themselves “Handsome Guys” as they move into a new home in the countryside. Gong Seung-Yeon plays Mina, who meets the two men in their new home. The film also has Park Ji-Hwan and Lee Kyu-Hyung play police officers and Woo Hyeon play Priest Kim.
