Two teaser posters and release date added for movie “The Book of Fish” starring Sol Kyung-Gu & Byun Yo-Han. The film is now set for release March 31, 2021 in South Korea. Caption on the teaser posters states in Korean “A scholar filled with curiosity and a fisherman become each other’s teacher.” Movie is directed by Lee Joon-Ik and tells the true story of Jung Yak-Jeon and Jang Chang-Dae from the 18th century.

Movie “Night in Paradise,” starring Um Tae-Goo & Jeon Yeo-Bin, will be released straight to Netflix on April 9, 2021. The film had its world premiere at the 2020 Venus Film Festival, but the Covid-19 outbreak caused the film to skip its general release in theaters. “Night In Paradise” is directed by Park Hoon-Jung (“New World“/”The Witch: Part 1. Do Kyung-Soo (‘EXO’) is cast for the lead male role in movie “Secret” (literal title “Unspeakable Secret”). The film is a remake of 2007 Taiwanese movie “Secret” starring Jay Chou & Gwei Lun-Mei. The remake film will be directed by Seo Yoo-Min (screenwriter of “April Snow“/”You Call It Passion“). For “Secret,” Do Kyung-Soo will play a high school student, who transfers to a new school.
Filming for “Secret” will begin in the second half of this year. Casting for the lead actress will take place through auditions that will be held.

IU is cast in movie “Broker” co-starring Song Kang-Ho, Gang Dong-Won, and Bae Doo-Na. The movie is written & directed by award winning director Hirokazu Koreeda. Details on IU’s character has not yet been revealed. The movie revolves around a baby box, where parents can abandon their babies. Filming for “Broker” will begin sometime this year.

Hyun-Bin, Yu Hae-Jin, Yoona, Daniel Henney and Jin Seon-Kyu are cast in sequel film “Confidential Assignment 2: International.” All of the performers will reprise their respective characters from 2017 movie “Confidential Assignment,” except for Daniel Henney who will play new character F.B.I. agent Jack. The film will again revolve around North North Korean detective Im Chul-Ryung (Hyun-Bin), who comes to South Korea on a new mission. Lee Suk-Hoon (“The Pirates“/”Dancing Queen“) will direct the sequel film.
Filming will begin February, 2021 for “Confidential Assignment 2: International.”

Main trailer added for movie “Space Sweepers” starring Song Joong-Ki, Kim Tae-Ri, & Jin Seon-Kyu. The sci-fi film revolves around crew members of Spaceship Victory. They are Captain (Kim Tae-Ri), Pilot Tae-Ho (Song Joong-Ki), Tiger Park (Jin Seon-Kyu) and robot (Yu Hae-Jin). They make money by collecting space garbage, but they come across a robot that is wanted by the entire universe.
Due to the corona virus outbreak, which delayed the theatrical release date for “Space Sweepers” several times, the film will have a straight to Netflix world premiere on February 5, 2021.
