IU is cast in movie “Broker” co-starring Song Kang-Ho, Gang Dong-Won, and Bae Doo-Na. The movie is written & directed by award winning director Hirokazu Koreeda. Details on IU’s character has not yet been revealed. The movie revolves around a baby box, where parents can abandon their babies. Filming for “Broker” will begin sometime this year.

Hyun-Bin, Yu Hae-Jin, Yoona, Daniel Henney and Jin Seon-Kyu are cast in sequel film “Confidential Assignment 2: International.” All of the performers will reprise their respective characters from 2017 movie “Confidential Assignment,” except for Daniel Henney who will play new character F.B.I. agent Jack. The film will again revolve around North North Korean detective Im Chul-Ryung (Hyun-Bin), who comes to South Korea on a new mission. Lee Suk-Hoon (“The Pirates“/”Dancing Queen“) will direct the sequel film.
Filming will begin February, 2021 for “Confidential Assignment 2: International.”

Main trailer added for movie “Space Sweepers” starring Song Joong-Ki, Kim Tae-Ri, & Jin Seon-Kyu. The sci-fi film revolves around crew members of Spaceship Victory. They are Captain (Kim Tae-Ri), Pilot Tae-Ho (Song Joong-Ki), Tiger Park (Jin Seon-Kyu) and robot (Yu Hae-Jin). They make money by collecting space garbage, but they come across a robot that is wanted by the entire universe.
Due to the corona virus outbreak, which delayed the theatrical release date for “Space Sweepers” several times, the film will have a straight to Netflix world premiere on February 5, 2021.

Sol Kyung-Gu, Lee Ha-Nee and Park So-Dam are cast for lead roles in movie “Phantom” (literal title). Park Hae-Soo, Kim Dong-Hee and Seo Hyun-Woo are also cast for major supporting character roles. The film is a spy-thriller and set in 1933 when Korea was under Japanese occupation. 5 people are locked up in a remote hotel as suspected spies for a rebel group. Movie is directed by Lee Hae-Young (“The Silenced“).

The teaser posters also reveal that the drama series will air from February 1, 2021 in South Korea. Kim Tae-Hoon and Yoon Ji-Hye are cast for supporting roles in tvN drama series “Like Butterfly” starring Song Kang & Park In-Hwan. The drama series revolves around a 70-year-old man (Park In-Hwan) who decides to pursue his dream of becoming a ballet dancer and a young man (Song Kang) who teaches ballet. Kim Tae-Hoon and Yoon Ji-Hye will play Ki Seung-Joo and Eun So-Ri. They are a divorced couple. Ki Seung-Joo connects the two main characters.
“Like Butterfly” will first air sometime during the first half of 2021 in South Korea.
