Hiroshi Abe cast in movie “Transfer Order Is To The Musical Band”

Hiroshi Abe is cast in movie “Transfer Order Is To The Musical Band” (literal title of “Ido Jirei wa Ongakutai!”). The film is written and directe by Eiji Uchida. In the film, Hiroshi Abe will play Detective Tsukasa Naruse. His boss transfers him to the police musical band as punishment. Director Eiji Uchida became inspired to the make the movie after watching a flash mob police musical band perform on YouTube.

Filming for “Transfer Order Is To The Musical Band” begins at the start of August, 2021 and will be released during summer, 2022.

Toma Ikuta cast in movie “The Mole Song: Final”

Toma Ikuta cast in live-action film “The Mole Song: Final.” Along with Toma Ikuta as Reiji Kikukawa, director Takashi Miike & screenwriter Kankuro Kudo will work together again after collaborating on 2014 movie “The Mole Song: Undercover Agent Reiji” and 2016 sequel movie “The Mole Song: Hong Kong Capriccio.” The film will have Reiji Kikukawa going undercover to infiltrate the biggest yakuza organization. In addition, the first teaser trailer has already been added on AsianWiki. Filming for the movie finished mid-June, 2021.

“The Mole Song: Final” will be released November 19, 2021.

Trailer & poster for live-action film “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Final”

Trailer and poster added for live-action film “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Final” starring Sho Hirano & Kanna Hashimoto. Movie is based on manga series “Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensaitachi no Renai Zunosen” by Aka Akasaka and is a sequel to 2019 live-action film “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War.” Caption on the teaser poster states “I want to get a confession this time.” Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Koifuru Tsukiyo ni Kimi Omou” by King & Prince. That song and a track by singer Ado are played in the trailer.

“Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Final” will be released August 20, 2021 in Japan.

Teaser trailer and teaser posters added for movie “What She Likes” (literal title) starring Fuju Kamio & Anna Yamada. Movie is based on 2018 novel “Kanojo ga Sukina Mono wa Homo de Atte Boku dewa Nai” by Naoto Asahara and was previously adapted into 2019 NHK drama series “Fujoshi, Ukkari Gei ni Kokuru.” The teaser trailer begins with Sae Miura (Anna Yamada), who doesn’t know Jun Ando (Fuju Kamio) is gay, confessing her feelings to him. 

“What She Likes” will be released sometime this autumn in Japan.

Movie is based on 2007 manga series “Kinou Nani Tabeta?” by Fumi Yoshinaga and directed by Kazuhito Nakae. 2019 TV Tokyo drama series “What Did You Eat Yesterday?” is also based on the same manga series and stars Hidetoshi Nishijima & Seiyo Uchino.

“What Did You Eat Yesterday?” will be released November 3, 2021 in Japan.

The trailer and poster shows the Daimajin, which is a Demon God and he saves people. The movie itself features the impending doom of the world and a great war taking place among the yokai.
