Yuya Yagira & Yuina Kuroshima cast in movie “Arata Natsume Getting Married”

Yuya Yagira and Yuina Kuroshima are cast in movie “Arata Natsume Getting Married.” The film is based on manga series “Natsume Arata no Kekkon” by Taro Nogizaka and directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi (“Sanada 10 Braves“). Meanwhile, the first teaser trailer and teaser poster has been added on AsianWiki. The teaser trailer starts with Yuya Yagira as Arata Natsume staring through the glass in a prison visitation room and proposing to serial killer Shinju Shinagawa played by Yuina Kuroshima.

“Arata Natsume Getting Married” will be released September 6, 2024 in Japan.

Teaser trailer & poster for movie “Honeko Akabane’s Bodyguards”

Teaser trailer and poster added for live-action film “Honeko Akabane’s Bodyguards” starring Raul and Natsuki Deguchi. Movie is based on manga series “Akabane Honeko no Bodyguard” by Masamitsu Nigatsu and directed by Junichi Ishikawa. Lead female actress Natsuki Deguchi and supporting actors Daiken Okudaira and Hikaru Takahashi were announced today as appearing in the film. Character posters of Natsuki Deguchi as Honeko Akabane, Daiken Okudaira as Sumihiko Somejima, and Hikaru Takahashi as Nei Togeya are below.

“Honeko Akabane’s Bodyguards” will be released August 2, 2024 in Japan.

Main trailer and poster for movie “Kingdom 4”

Main trailer and poster added for live-action film “Kingdom 4” starring Kento Yamazaki, Ryo Yoshizawa, and Kanna Hashimoto. Movie is based on manga series “Kingdom” by Yasuhisa Hara and is the fourth installment in the Kingdom movie franchise that began with the 2019 movie “Kingdom.” Caption on the poster states “An unforgettable battle begins.” Story for “Kingdom 4” takes place immediately after “Kingdom 3.”

“Kingdom 4” will be released July 12, 2024 in Japan.

Trailer and poster for movie “Kuchinai Sakura”

Trailer and poster added for movie “Kuchinai Sakura” starring Hana Sugisaki. The mystery-suspense film is based on 2015 novel “Kuchinai Sakura” by Yuko Yuzuki (“The Blood of Wolves“) and directed by Hiroto Hara (“Tokyo City Girl“). The trailer begins with successive captions that states “Stalker murder, police scandal, friend’s death.” Caption on the poster states “Believe me.” In addition, more supporting actors has been announced for the film. They are Kokoro Morita, Minosuke Bando, Taro Suruga, Yuya Endo, Soko Wada, and Tomoko Fujita. 

“Kuchinai Sakura” will be released June 21, 2024.

Trailer & poster added for Netflix movie “City Hunter” starring Ryohei Suzuki and Misato Morita. Movie is based on manga series “City Hunter” by Tsukasa Hojo, which was previously adapted into 2011 SBS drama series “City Hunter” starring Lee Min-Ho & Park Min-Young. Also newly announced today as supporting cast members for the movie are Tetta Sugimoto, Ayame Misaki, and Takaya Sakoda.

“City Hunter” will be available to stream from April 25, 2024.

Ryusei Onishi cast in movie “We Don’t Know Love Yet”

Ryusei Onishi is cast for the lead role and Airu Kubozuka, Nagisa Saito, Riko, Soya Igari, and Sara Shida are also cast in teen-romance live-action film “We Don’t Know Love Yet.” Movie is based on manga series “Koi wo Shiranai Bokutachi wa” by Minami Mizuno and directed by Mai Sakai. Ryusei Onishi will play Eiji Aihara. He is a first year high school students, surrounded by friends, and experiences true love.

“We Don’t Know Love Yet” will be released August 23, 2024 in Japan.

Trailer for movie “Confession”

Trailer added for suspense-thriller film “Confession” starring Toma Ikuta and Yang Ik-June. Movie is based on manga series “Kokuhaku: Confession” by Nobuyuki Fukumoto (“Kaiji“) and directed by Nobuhiro Yamashita (“My Back Page“) In addition, actress Nao has been cast to play character Sayuri Nishida. Her character died in a mountain climbing accident 16 years ago. The movie’s theme song is also featured in the trailer, which is played by rock band Maximum the Hormone. The title of the theme song has not yet been revealed.

“Confession” will be released May 31, 2024 in Japan.

Main trailer and poster added for movie “Missing” starring Satomi Ishihara and Tomoya Nakamura. Movie is written and directed by Keisuke Yoshida (“Cafe Isobe“). The main trailer begins with Satomi Ishihara stating “There must be some very harsh words written again.” In the movie, Satomi Ishihara plays Saori. Her 3 year old daughter went missing, while the mother attended a concert.

“Missing” will be released May 17, 2024 in Japan.

Trailer and poster added for movie “Who Were We?” starring Nana Komatsu & Ryuhei Matsuda. The film takes place on Sado Island, where two people who claim to have lost their memories meet and become attracted to each other. Tetsuya Tomina, who wrote and directed the film, became inspired to make the movie after seeing graves of unidentified people on Sado Island.

“Who Were We?” will be released May 31, 2024 in Japan.
