Tsuyoshi Domoto is cast for the lead role in movie “Maru.” The quirky film is written and directed by Naoko Ogigami (“Close-Knit“). In the film, Tsuyoshi Domoto will play Sawada, who loses his job as an artist assistant and becomes obsessed with the O shape. A teaser trailer and two teaser posters has also been released for the film. Caption on the teaser posters states “One day suddenly, O came to me.”

The film is directed by Ayuko Tsukahara and scripted by Akiko Nogi, who have previously worked together in 2018 TBS drama series “Unnatural” and 2020 TBS drama series “MIU 404.” The film “Last Mile” is set during the Black Friday shopping holiday, when a series of delivery packages explodes. Also cast for the film are Ikoi Hayase, Soma Santoki, Towa Araki, Maya Imamori, Shun Aoi, Shota Sometani, Satoru Matsuo and Makita Sports. Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Boku ga Ikiteru, Futatsu no Sekai” starring Ryo Yoshizawa. The film, directed by Mipo O (“The Light Shines Only There“), follows a young man Dai Igarashi, who acts as an interpreter of his deaf mom, but tries to leave his small town. The film is also based on nonfiction novel “Ro no Ryoshin kara Umareta Boku ga Kikoeru Sekai to Kikoenai Sekai wo Ikikishite Kangaeta 30 no Koto” by Dai Igarashi.

Filming for “Cloud” took place from November 25, 2023 and finished December 22, 2023, with Kiyoshi Kurosawa (“Tokyo Sonata“) having written and directed the film. Ren Meguro & Hayato Sano are cast in live-action film “Trillion Game.” The film is based on manga series “Trillion Game” by Riichiro Inagaki and a sequel to 2023 TBS drama series “Trillion Game.” Ren Meguro and Hayato Sano will reprise their respective roles of Haru Tennoji and Manabu Taira from the TBS drama series. The screenplay for the live-action film is set after the end of the drama series. In addition, the first teaser trailer for the movie can be viewed at AsianWiki.

Movie is based on manga series “Akabane Honeko no Bodyguard” by Masamitsu Nigatsu and directed by Junichi Ishikawa. Lead female actress Natsuki Deguchi and supporting actors Daiken Okudaira and Hikaru Takahashi were announced today as appearing in the film.
