Eiji Akaso and Keita Machida are cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “30sai made Dotei dato Mahotsukai ni Narerurashii.” The drama series is based on manga series “30sai made Dotei dato Mahotsukai ni Narerurashii” by You Toyota. The BL themed script has Eiji Akaso playing 30-year-old Kiyoshi Adachi. Keita Machida will play Yuichi Kurosawa, who has romantic feelings for Kiyoshi Adachi.

Yuriko Yoshitaka cast in TBS drama “Dangerous Venus”

Yuriko Yoshitaka is cast in TBS drama “Dangerous Venus” (literal title) co-starring Satoshi Tsumabuki. The drama series is based on 2016 novel “Kikenna Venus” by popular author Keigo Higashino. Yuriko Yoshitaka will play Kaede Yagami. She appears in front of Hakuro (Satoshi Tsumabuki) and introduces herself as the wife of Hakuro’s stepbrother. She informs him that her stepbrother went missing and asks for his help to find him. There’s something mysterious about her.

Kasumi Arimura is cast in Fuji TV drama series “Older Sister’s Lover” (literal title of “Nee-chan no Koibito”). For the drama series, Kasumi Arimura will play Momoko Adachi. Her parents died in an accident, when she was a third year high school student. Afterwards, she began working at a hardware store to take care of her 3 younger siblings. 9 years later, she takes an interest in a man she meets while working at the store. Rinka Kumada & Toshiki Seto are cast in TV Asahi-ABC drama series “Marry Me!” The drama series is based on manga “Marry Me!” by Miku Yuki and directed by Ryuichi Honda. For the drama series, Rinka Kumada will play Himari Sawamoto. She is a NEET, which refers to a young adult who is unemployed and not enrolled in education. Toshiki Seto will play Shin Akiyasu. He is a young adult employed as a civil servant. They soon become married through an experimental government program.

Takuya Kimura is cast in Fuji TV drama special “Kyojo 2” (working title). The drama special is a sequel to Fuji TV drama special “Kyojo,” which aired earlier this year. Takuya Kimura will reprise his role of Kimichika Kazama for “Kyojo 2.” His character works as an instructor at a police academy. Filming for for the drama special will begin September, 2020 and further casting news will be announced later.

“Kyojo 2” will consist of 2 episodes and air January 2nd & 3rd, 2021 in Japan.

Takaya Kamikawa is cast for the lead role in WOWOW drama series “No Matter How Dark The Night Is” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2020 novel “Yoru ga Dorehodo Kurakutemo” by Shichiri Nakayama (“Goodbye Debussy“). For “No Matter How Dark The Night Is,” Takaya Kamikawa will play journalist Michinari Shiga. He becomes the target of journalists after his son kills another person and himself.

“No Matter How Dark The Night Is” will consist of 4 episodes and first air November, 2020 (takes over WOWOW’s Sunday 10PM time slot after “The Confession of the Sirens“).

Fumino Kimura cast in TV Asahi drama “Seven Secretaries”

Fumino Kimura is cast for the lead role in TV Asahi drama series “Seven Secretaries” (literal title of “Shichinin no Hisho”). Also cast for supporting roles are Alice HiroseNanaoShim Eun-KyungYuko OshimaShigeru Muroi and Yosuke Eguchi.

For the drama series, Fumino Kimura will play Chiyo Mochizuki. She currently works as a director’s secretary at Toto bank. Chiyo Mochizuki is part of a shadow corps consisting of seven people who works or have worked as secretaries.

Teaser posters and ep.1 air date set for TV Asahi drama series “24 Japan” starring Toshiaki Karasawa. Ep.1 is now set to air October 9, 2020 in Japan. In addition, supporting cast members have been announced for the drama series.
