Ryohei Suzuki is cast for the lead role in TBS drama series “Tokyo MER.” For the drama series, Ryohei Suzuki will play Kota Kitami. He leads a team of emergency medical personnel that is call Tokyo Mobile Emergency Room. They travel to accident sites by a large vehicle that even has an operating room. The drama series is scripted by Tsutomu Kuroiwa (“The Dangerous Venus“).
“Tokyo MER” first airs July, 2021 in Japan (takes over TBS’ Sunday 9PM time slot after “Dragon Sakura S2“).

Koji Seto is cast in WOWOW drama series “Male Copywriter, Takes Paternity Leave” (literal title). The drama series is based on essay “Otoko Copywriter, Ikukyu wo Toru” by Yohei Ugaeri. The drama series will have Koji Seto playing Yosuke Ugaeri. He takes an unusually long 6 month paternity leave to take of care of family issues.

Haru, Kei Tanaka, Yuta Kishi (King & Prince), Takumi Kitamura, and Sae Okazaki are cast in Fuji TV drama series “Night Doctor.” The drama series features an original screenplay by Haruka Okita and directed by Munenori Sekino & Kensaku Sawada. All five of the announced performers will play members of the night doctor team at a hospital.

Marie Iitoyo cast in TV Tokyo-Paravi drama series “Hinekure Onna no Bocchimeshi.” Tokio Emoto is also for the drama series. The drama series, that features an original screenplay, follows Tsugumi Kawamoto (Marie Iitoyo) as she follows an Instagram user White Horse (Tokio Emoto).

Takumi Saito & Juri Ueno are cast in Netflix live-action drama series “Kentaro Hiyama’s First Pregnancy.” The drama series is based on manga “Hiyama Kentaro no Ninshin” by Eri Sakai. The manga & screenplay is set in a world where men get pregnant and give birth. For the drama series, Takumi Saito will play Kentaro Hiyama and Juri Ueno will play his partner Aki Seto.
