first script reading for MBC drama series “One More Happy Ending”

First script reading for upcoming MBC drama series “One More Happy Ending” took place on December 4, 2015. The first script featured just the six main cast members: Jang Na-Ra, Jung Kyoung-Ho, Kwon Yool, You Da-In, Yoo In-Na, Seo In-Young. A followup script reading will be held soon that includes the rest of the cast.

Premise for “One More Happy Ending” follows four women who were once members of the idol group “Angels.” Two of the women now work at a remarriage consulting business. The women crosses paths with a reporter and single father (Jung Kyoung-Ho) and his doctor friend (Kwon Yool).

“One More Happy Ending” first airs January 20, 2016 in South Korea.

Lisa Oda cast in live-action film “Himitsu The Top Secret”

Actress/model Lisa Oda is cast as the heroine in upcoming live-action film “Himitsu The Top Secret” starring Toma Ikuta, Masaki Okada, Chiaki Kuriyama & Nao Omori. Lisa Oda received the lead female role through auditions and this is her first acting performance in a feature length film. In movie  “Himitsu The Top Secret,” Lisa Oda will play Kinuko Tsuyuguchi. Her character is the daughter of a man who was executed for murdering a family. She is a mysterious girl who holds a key to the story.

“Himitsu The Top Secret” will be released in August, 2016 in Japan.

Teaser trailer for movie “If Cats Disappeared From the World”

Teaser trailer added for upcoming movie “If Cats Disappeared From the World” starring Takeru Satoh and Aoi Miyazaki. Movie “If Cats Disappeared From the World” is based on 2012 novel”Sekai kara Neko ga Kieta nara” by film producer Genki Kawamura and directed by Akira Nagai (“Judge!“). Portions of the film was filmed in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Premise for “If Cats Disappeared From the World” involves a postman (Takeru Satoh) who learns he he has a terminal illness. A devil then appears and offers to extend his life if he picks something in the world to disappear.

In addition, release date for “If Cats Disappeared From the World” is now set for May 14, 2016 in Japan.

Kim Young-Kwang, Lee Sung-Kyung & Lim Ju-Hwan cast in movie “Broker”

Kim Young-Kwang, Lee Sung-Kyung & Lim Ju-Hwan are cast in new movie “Broker.” Movie will be directed by Kim Hong-Sun (“Traffickers“/”The Con Artists“). Story for the film involves the murder of the daughter of the Minister of Justice.

In movie “Broker,” Kim Young-Kwang will play Choi Sang-Min. His character is a popular attorney. He takes the murder case involving the daughter of the Minister of Justice. Actress Lee Sung-Kyung will play a public defender. Meanwhile, Lim Ju-Hwan will play Han Sung-Ho. His character works as a PD at a newsroom. He goes after the truth in the murder case.

Filming for “Broker” begins January, 2016 in South Korea.

New poster and main trailer for upcoming movie “Sailor Suit and Machine Gun: Graduation” (literal title) starring Kanna Hashimoto, Hiroki Hasegawa & Masanobu Ando. Movie is based on 1978 novel “Sera Fuku to Kikanju” by Jiro Akagawa and directed by Koji Maeda (“Cannonball Wedlock”/”My Hawaiian Discovery”).

“Sailor Suit and Machine Gun: Graduation” will be released March 5, 2016 in Japan.

Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming film “Don’t Forget Me” starring Jung Woo-Sung & Kim Ha-Neul. Movie “Don’t Forget Me” is a remake of 2010 short film “Remember O Goddess.” Both the original short film and the movie “Don’t Forget Me” are written and directed by Lee Yoon-Jung. Premise for the film follows a man (Jung Woo-Sung) who lost his memory from the past 10 years. He falls in love with a woman played by Kim Ha-Neul.
