Teaser trailer added for upcoming suspense-mystery film “Creepy” starring Hidetoshi Nishijima, Yuko Takeuchi, Haruna Kawaguchi, Masahiro Higashide & Teruyuki Kagawa. Movie is directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa (“Tokyo Sonata“) and based on 2012 novel “Creepy” by Yutaka Maekawa.
“Creepy” will be released June 18, 2016 in Japan.
Actor Kenichi Matsuyama is cast in upcoming live-action film “Chinyuki.” The live-action film is based on manga series “Chinyuki – Taro to Yukaina Nakama tachi” by Gataro Man and directed by Yudai Yamaguchi (“Abductee“). The manga itself is a parody of well known 16th century Chinese novel “Journey to the West.”
Premise for the film follows a monk as he travels to India. Along the way, he stops at a house and is introduced to their son (Kenichi Matsuyama) who is a troublemaker with magical powers. The parents asks the monk to help reform their troublemaker son and the monk takes him to India.
“Chinyuki” will be released February 27, 2016 in Japan.
Here’s new still images of lead actors Park Hae-Jin and Seo Kang-Joon in upcoming tvN drama series “Cheese in the Trap” also starring Kim Go-Eun, Lee Sung-Kyung and Nam Joo-Hyuk.
In drama series “Cheese in the Trap,” Park Hae-Jin plays Yoo-Jung. His character is scripted as good looking, smart and rich, but he also comes across as suspicious. Seo Kang-Joon plays Baek In-Ho. His character has a free spirit and sometimes shows a warm side.
Drama series “Cheese in the Trap” is based on popular webcomic of same name by Son Ggi. “Cheese in the Trap” will first air January 4, 2016 in South Korea.

Movie is written and directed by Shuichi Okita (“The Woodsman and the Rain“). Story for the film, follows a failed punk rocker (Ryuhei Matsuda) who returns to his hometown to tell his father that his wife is pregnant.

Premise for the film follows a father (Lee Sung-Min) in search of his missing teenage daughter. He then comes across a satellite robot which he uses to help find his daughter. Movie is directed by Lee Ho-Jae (“The Scam“).
“Robot, Sori” will be released sometime in January, 2016 in South Korea.
Actress Mizuki Yamamoto is cast in upcoming horror film “Sadako vs. Kayako.” Sadako is the main horror figure in the “Ring” horror films, while Kayako is the main horror figure in the “Ju-On” horror films. For movie “Sadako vs. Kayako,” Mizuki Yamamoto will play main character Yuri Kurahashi. Her character is stuck between the horror figures Sadako and Kayako.

Movie is directed by Shinji Higuchi who is no stranger to movies featuring large creatures as his prior two directed films were “Attack on Titan” and “Attack on Titan: End of the World.” Screenplay is handled by Hideaki Anno (“Evangelion“/”Cutie Honey“). The Godzilla featured in movie “Godzilla Resurgence” is the tallest Godzilla yet, estimated at about 118.5 meters (388 feet).
Release date for “Godzilla Resurgence” is now set for July 29, 2016 in Japan.

First script reading for upcoming MBC drama series “One More Happy Ending” took place on December 4, 2015. The first script featured just the six main cast members: Jang Na-Ra, Jung Kyoung-Ho, Kwon Yool, You Da-In, Yoo In-Na, Seo In-Young. A followup script reading will be held soon that includes the rest of the cast.
Premise for “One More Happy Ending” follows four women who were once members of the idol group “Angels.” Two of the women now work at a remarriage consulting business. The women crosses paths with a reporter and single father (Jung Kyoung-Ho) and his doctor friend (Kwon Yool).
“One More Happy Ending” first airs January 20, 2016 in South Korea.
