Release date and main poster for movie “Because I Hate Korea”

Release date and main poster added for movie “Because I Hate Korea” starring Ko Ah-Sung. Movie is based on 2015  novel “Hankookyi Sileoseo” by Jang Kang-Myeong and held its world premiere as the opening film for the 2023 Busan International Film Festival. Caption on the poster states “I decided to start anew to find happiness.”

Jeon Do-Yeon, Kim Go-Eun, cast in Netflix drama “The Price of Confession”


Jeon Do-Yeon, Kim Go-Eun, Park Hae-Soo, and Jin Sun-Kyu are cast in Netflix mystery-thriller drama series “The Price of Confession.” Jeon Do-Yeon will play An Yoon-Soo. She is convicted of murdering her husband, but claims she is innocent. In prison, she meets Mo Eun played by Kim Go-Eun. Mo Eun is known as the witch, because of her uncanny ability to read other people. They make a deal. The drama series will be directed by Lee Jung-Hyo (“Doona!“).

The film is the third installment in the Baby Assassins films franchise that started with 2021 movie “Baby Assassins.” Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Kyoshikyoku” by rock band Queen Bee. Teaser trailer for MBC drama “Such A Close Traitor”

First teaser trailer added for MBC drama series “Such A Close Traitor” (literal title) starring Han Suk-Kyu & Chae Won-Bin. The screenplay, written by newcomer Han A-Young, won the MBC Drama Script Contest in 2021. Setup for the drama series has Han Suk-Kyu playing criminal profiler Jang Tae-Soo. While investigating a murder case, he comes across clues that points to his daughter Jang Ha-Bin played by Chae Won-Bin as a possible suspect. Caption in the teaser trailer states (0:06) “No one should know,” (0:08) “My daughter became a murderer,” and (0:29) “I wish no one knew.”

First teaser trailer added for Netflix drama series “The Frog” starring Kim Yun-Seok, Yoon Kye-Sang, Go Min-Si, & Lee Jung-Eun. The drama series features veteran actor Kim Yun-Seok appearing in a drama series for the first time in 17 years. “The Frog” is setup as a thriller, set around a Jeon Young-Ha (Kim Yun-Seok) who runs a lodge in a rural area. He receives an unexpected visitor in Yoo Sung-A (Go Min-Si).

Main trailer for movie “Cloud” starring Masaki Suda. Movie is written and directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa (“Tokyo Sonata“) and will have its world premiere in the Out of Competition section at this year’s Venice Film Festival (August 28-Sept. 7, 2024). Kim Woo-Seok is cast in drama series “0 Period Is Social Butterfly Time” (literal title). The teen romantic-comedy drama series will have Kim Woo-Seok play popular high school student Kang Woo-Bin. He is an idol trainee, but has a secret that he doesn’t revealed. A misfit girl, who manages app Social Butterfly Time, becomes involved with him.

“0 Period Is Social Butterfly Time” will be available to stream sometime this October on an OTT platform not yet revealed.
