First teaser trailer added for Netflix drama series “The Frog” starring Kim Yun-Seok, Yoon Kye-Sang, Go Min-Si, & Lee Jung-Eun. The drama series features veteran actor Kim Yun-Seok appearing in a drama series for the first time in 17 years. “The Frog” is setup as a thriller, set around a Jeon Young-Ha (Kim Yun-Seok) who runs a lodge in a rural area. He receives an unexpected visitor in Yoo Sung-A (Go Min-Si).
“The Frog” will be available to stream August 23, 2024 in South Korea.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: During the summer in the present day, Jeon Young-Ha (Kim Yun-Seok) runs a vacation cottage located deep in the woods. His peaceful life is shaken by the sudden appearance of a mysterious woman named Yoo Sung-A (Go Min-Si).
In the early 2000’s, Koo Sang-Joon (Yoon Kye-Sang) ran the same vocation cottage as Jeon Young-Ha did years later. Koo Sang-Joon and his family also lived there, but, during the summer, something happened at his vacation cottage and Koo Sang-Joon lost everything because of that. At that time, Yoon Bo-Min (Lee Jung-Eun) worked as a police officer at the nearest police substation from the vacation cottage. 20 years later, Yoon Bo-Min is transferred to the same police substation where she worked before and she begins to work there as the chief. She enjoys solving things and begins to observe Jeon Young-Ha closely.
