Kim Se-Jeong, Lee Jong-Won cast in ENA drama “Drunken Romance”

Kim Se-Jeong, Lee Jong-Won, Shin Do-Hyun, & Baek Sung-Chul are cast in ENA drama series “Drunken Romance” (literal title). Drama series is directed by Park Sun-Ho, who previously worked with Kim Se-Jeong in 2022 SBS drama series “Business Proposal.” For “Drunken Romance,” Kim Se-Jeong will play Chae Yong-Joo. She is a saleswoman for a liquor company. She tries to sell a new beer created by a brewmaster played by Lee Jong-Won.

“Drunken Romance” will first air November, 2024 in South Korea.

Teaser posters for movie “Amazon Bullseye”

Teaser posters added for movie “Amazon Bullseye” starring Ryu Seung-Ryong and Jin Sun-Kyu. Movie is scripted by Bae Se-Young (“Extreme Job“) and directed by Kim Chang-Ju (“Hard Hit“). The action-comedy film is setup with Ryu Seung-Ryong coaching three warriors from the Amazon in a world archery competition held in Korea. Jin Sun-Kyu will play a translator for the coach and the athletes from the Amazon. Caption in the first two teaser posters states “Welcome, first time in Seoul?” and caption on the last two posters states “Welcome, first time in the Amazon?”

“Amazon Bullseye” will be released October, 2024 in South Korea.

Yoon San-Ha, Arin, Yoo Jung-Hoo, and Chuu cast in drama “My Girlfriend is a Tough Guy”

Yoon San-Ha, Arin, Yoo Jung-Hoo, and Chuu are cast in drama series “My Girlfriend is a Tough Guy” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Nae Yeojachinguneun Sangnamja” by Massstar.

For “My Girlfriend is a Tough Guy,” Yoon San-Ha will play university student Park Yoon-Jae. He meets a man one day, who claims to be his girlfriend. Arin will play Kim Ji-Eun. She is the girlfriend of Park Yoon-Jae. Yoo Jung-Hoo will play Kim Ji-Hoon, who is Kim Ji-Eun with the male physical appearance and male name. Lastly, Chuu will play Kang Min-Joo. She is a popular university student and likes Park Yoon-Jae. Broadcast network/OTT platform and release date for the drama series has not yet been decided.

Park Jeong-Min and Kim Ji-Soo cast in Coupang Play drama “Newtopia”

Park Jeong-Min and Kim Ji-Soo from Blackpink are cast in Coupang Play drama series “Newtopia.” The drama series revolves around a virus outbreak that causes infectees to become zombies. Park Jeong-Min and Kim Ji-Soo will play boyfriend and girlfriend who try meet up during the chaos. Below are the first still images of the two leads in the drama series.

“Newtopia” will be available to stream sometime next year.

Main trailer and poster added for movie “Maru” starring Tsuyoshi Domoto. Movie is written and directed by Naoko Ogigami (“Riverside Mukolitta“). The film follows an artist Sawada, played by Tsuyoshi Domoto, who becomes fascinated by the shape of a circle. Announcement teaser trailer and release date set for Netflix drama series “Squid Game 2” starring Lee Jung-Jae, Lee Byung-Hun, & Wi Ha-Joon. It has been 3 years since the first season of “Squid Game” was released and the teaser trailer has Front Man standing in front of a running track and asking “It’s been three years. Are you ready to play again?”

“Squid Game 2” will be available to stream December 26, 2024 and “Squid Game 3” will be released sometime in 2025.

Jeon Do-Yeon, Kim Go-Eun, Park Hae-Soo, and Jin Sun-Kyu are cast in Netflix mystery-thriller drama series “The Price of Confession.” Jeon Do-Yeon will play An Yoon-Soo. She is convicted of murdering her husband, but claims she is innocent. In prison, she meets Mo Eun played by Kim Go-Eun. Mo Eun is known as the witch, because of her uncanny ability to read other people. They make a deal. The drama series will be directed by Lee Jung-Hyo (“Doona!“).
