Ju Ji-Hoon & Jung Yu-Mi cast in tvN drama “Love on a Single Tree Bridge”

Ju Ji-Hoon and Jung Yu-Mi are cast in tvN drama series “Love on a Single Tree Bridge” (literal title). The romance themed drama series is scripted by Im Ye-Jin (“The Tale of Nokdu“) and directed by Park Joon-Hwa (“Because This Is My First Life“). Story for “Love on a Single Tree Bridge” will have Ju Ji-Hoon and Jung Yu-Mi play two people who were hometown rivals as teens, meet again as adults when they work at the same school.

“Love on a Single Tree Bridge” will air sometime later this year in South Korea.

Teaser poster and air date set for SBS drama series “The Judge from Hell” starring Park Shin-Hye and Kim Jae-Young. The teaser poster features Park Shin-Hye as Kang Bit-Na. She works as a judge, but she is actually a demon. Caption on the teaser poster states “Welcome to my world.”

Shotaro Mamiya cast in WOWOW drama “Hustlin Boy”

Shotaro Mamiya is cast in WOWOW live-action drama series “Hustlin Boy.” The drama series is based on manga series of same name by Shinya Kusaka and Yuki Honda. Kosuke Suzuki (“Shylock’s Children“) will direct the drama series. Shotaro Mamiya will play Tamotsu Kubota. He is a student in debt and begins to work with someone in the criminal underworld of Ikebukuro.

“Hustlin Boy” will consist of 8 episodes and air sometime this fall in Japan.

Tatsuya Fujiwara cast in Fuji TV drama “Zenryoiki Ijou Kaiketsu Shitsu”

Tatsuya Fujiwara is cast in Fuji TV drama series “Zenryoiki Ijou Kaiketsu Shitsu.” The mystery drama series is scripted by Tsutomu Kuroiwa (“La Grande Maison Tokyo“) and directed by directed by Junichi Ishikawa (“Hospital Police Force“). For the upcoming drama series, Tatsuya Fujiwara will play Miyabi Okitama. He investigates mysterious cases, usually involving the paranormal or the occult, that are unsolvable by normal scientific means.

“Zenryoiki Ijou Kaiketsu Shitsu” will first air October 9, 2024 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Wednesday 10:00 PM time slot after “Shinjuku Field Hospital“).

The movie is based on manga series  “Kodoku no Gourmet” by Masayuki Qusumi and follows long running TV Tokyo drama series franchise “Solitary Gourmet.” The movie version will have Goro Inogashira (Yutaka Matsushige) traveling internationally in search of the ultimate soup. Kouhei Matsushita is cast in NTV live-action drama series “Houkago Karte.” The drama series is based on manga series “Houkago Karte” by Mayu Hinase. For “Houkago Karte,” Kouhei Matsushita will play a pediatrician who is stationed at an elementary school. He often complains and carries attitude, but he is good at his job.

Trailer added for tvN-TVING drama series “No Gain No Love” starring Shin Min-A & Kim Young-Dae. The upcoming romantic-comedy drama series revolves around a fake marriage that takes place between Son Hae-Young (Shin Min-A) and Kim Ji-Wook (Kim Young-Dae). Meanwhile, below are still images of Shin Min-A and supporting actresses Han Ji-Hyun, & Joo Min-Kyung. Han Ji-Hyun will play Nam Ja-Yeon. She is a writer of 19+ web novels.
