First teaser trailer for tvN drama series “Revolutionary Love”

First teaser trailer for upcoming tvN drama series “Revolutionary Love” (“Byun Hyuk’s Love”) starring Choi Si-Won, Kang So-Ra and Gong Myung. The teaser trailer shows resumes for main characters Byun Hyuk (Choi Si-Won),  Baek Joon (Kang So-Ra) and Kwon Je-Hoon (Gong Myung). The Korean title for the drama series “Byunhyukui Sarang” translates literally to “Revolutionary Love” or “Byun Hyuk’s Love.” In particular, “Byunhyuk” means “revolution” and it’s also the name of the character played by Choi Si-Won.

“Revolutionary Love” first airs October 14, 2017 in South Korea.

Trailer and poster for movie “Linking Love”

Trailer and poster added for upcoming movie “Linking Love” starring Yuka Tano and Anna Ishibashi. Movie is based on internet novel “Linking Love” by Hiroshi Hagishima and directed by Shusuke Kaneko. Setup for the film follows college student Miyu Mashio (Yuka Tano) as she travels back in time to when her parents were college students. She starts up an idol group there to get her father interested in her mother.

“Linking Love” opens October 28, 2017 in Japan.

First still images of Han Ye-Seul in MBC drama series “20th Century Boy and Girl”

Here’s the first 4 still images of Han Ye-Seul in upcoming MBC drama series “20th Century Boy and Girl” (literal title). The still images are from her first day of filming for the drama series, which took place July 21, 2017. Setup for this scene has popular actress Sa Jin-Jin (Han Ye-Seul) filming a commercial for a cosmetic brand.

Meanwhile, filming for the drama series has stopped since September 4, 2017 due to a general strike at the broadcasting station. Ep.1 is still scheduled to air September 25, 2017, but if the strike continues further episodes maybe postponed.

The Package ep.1 air date and new still images

Ep.1 air date for JTBC drama series “The Package” is now set for October 13, 2017 in South Korea.

Meanwhile, two promotional images have been released for the drama series. The first is a group photo with main cast members Jung Yong-Hwa (‘CNBLUE’), Lee Yeon-Hee, Choi Woo-Sik, Ryu Seung-Soo, Ha Shi-Eun, Jeong Gyu-Su, Lee Ji-Hyeon and Park Yoo-Na.  The second image is a still image of Yoon Park. The drama series has Lee Yeon-Hee playing travel agent Yoon So-So. She leads a tour group around France for a 8 night and 10 day trip.

Kaya Kiyohara cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Setoutsumi”

Kaya Kiyohara cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Setoutsumi” starring Mahiro Takasugi and Shono Hayama. The drama series is based on manga “Setoutsumi” by Kazuya Konomoto and follows live-action movie version “Setoutsumi” starring Masaki Suda and Sosuke Ikematsu.

For the drama series, Kaya Kiyohara will play Ichigo Kashimura. She is a classmate of So Utsumi (Mahiro Takasugi) and Shokichi Seto (Shono Hayama). Shokichi Seto likes her, but she has feeling for So Utsumi.

“Setoutsumi” first airs October, 2017 in Japan.

First still images of Kim Jae-Wook and teaser trailer #2 for SBS drama series “Temperature of Love”

Here’s the first still images of Kim Jae-Wook in upcoming SBS drama series “Temperature of Love” co-starring Seo Hyun-Jin, Yang Se-Jong and Jo Bo-Ah. The scene from the still images is set 5 years in the past, with Park Jung-Woo (Kim Jae-Wook) tasting On Jung-Sun’s cooking and realizing he has great talent.

Meanwhile, 2 versions of teaser trailer #2 has been added on AsianWiki. The 4 character version briefly shows Kim Jae-Wook and Jo Bo-Ah as well as Seo Hyun-Jin and Yang Se-Jong, while the 2 character version focuses solely on Seo Hyun-Jin and Yang Se-Jong.

Haruma Miura cast in TV Asahi drama series “Otona Koukou”

Haruma Miura is cast in new TV Asahi drama series “Otona Koukou.” The drama series is scripted by Hiroshi Hashimoto. Setup for the drama series has the Japanese government implementing “Otona Koukou” (Adult High School) to try to solve the country’s low birthrate problem. Citizens over 30 and who are sexually unexperienced are forcibly enrolled at Otona Koukou. Haruma Miura plays Hideto Arakawa. He is enrolled at Otona Koukou.

“Otona Koukou” will first air this October in Japan.
