Kaya Kiyohara cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Setoutsumi”

Kaya Kiyohara cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Setoutsumi” starring Mahiro Takasugi and Shono Hayama. The drama series is based on manga “Setoutsumi” by Kazuya Konomoto and follows live-action movie version “Setoutsumi” starring Masaki Suda and Sosuke Ikematsu.

For the drama series, Kaya Kiyohara will play Ichigo Kashimura. She is a classmate of So Utsumi (Mahiro Takasugi) and Shokichi Seto (Shono Hayama). Shokichi Seto likes her, but she has feeling for So Utsumi.

“Setoutsumi” first airs October, 2017 in Japan.

Here’s the first still images of Kim Jae-Wook in upcoming SBS drama series “Temperature of Love” co-starring Seo Hyun-Jin, Yang Se-Jong and Jo Bo-Ah. The scene from the still images is set 5 years in the past, with Park Jung-Woo (Kim Jae-Wook) tasting On Jung-Sun’s cooking and realizing he has great talent.

Meanwhile, 2 versions of teaser trailer #2 has been added on AsianWiki. The 4 character version briefly shows Kim Jae-Wook and Jo Bo-Ah as well as Seo Hyun-Jin and Yang Se-Jong, while the 2 character version focuses solely on Seo Hyun-Jin and Yang Se-Jong.

Haruma Miura cast in TV Asahi drama series “Otona Koukou”

Haruma Miura is cast in new TV Asahi drama series “Otona Koukou.” The drama series is scripted by Hiroshi Hashimoto. Setup for the drama series has the Japanese government implementing “Otona Koukou” (Adult High School) to try to solve the country’s low birthrate problem. Citizens over 30 and who are sexually unexperienced are forcibly enrolled at Otona Koukou. Haruma Miura plays Hideto Arakawa. He is enrolled at Otona Koukou.

“Otona Koukou” will first air this October in Japan.

Song Ji-Hyo and Jo Woo-Jin are cast in tvN drama special “Assistant Manager B and Love Letter” (literal title). In the drama series, Song Ji-Hyo will play Bang Ga-Young.She is a 34-year-old single woman and works as an assistant manager at a company. She has never had a boyfriend in her life. One day, she receives a mysterious love letter. Jo Woo-Jin will play Sim Byung-Sun. He works at the same company as Bang Ga-Young. He seems like a typical office worker, but he carries a mysterious magnetism.

“Assistant Manager B and Love Letter” will air sometime during December, 2017 in South Korea.

Fuma Kikuchi cast in NTV live-action drama series “Wagahai no Heya de Aru”

Fuma Kikuchi (‘Sexy Zone’) is cast in NTV live-action drama series “Wagahai no Heya de Aru.” The drama series is based on manga series “Wagahai no Heya de Aru” by Riki Taoka. The drama series will follow graduate student Tetsuro Kagiyama (Fuma Kikuchi) and his life while living in an efficiency apartment. Some props in his apartment including a hippo doll, rice cooker, lights and bottles will be voiced by actors.

“Wagahai no Heya de Aru” first airs September 18, 2017 in Japan.

Here’s the first 3 still images from upcoming SBS drama series “While You Were Sleeping” starring Lee Jong-Suk and Bae Suzy. The still images are from their first day of filming for the drama series, which took place March 2, 2017 in Seoul, South Korea. Story for the drama series follows Nam Hong-Joo (Bae Suzy) who sees accidents taking place in the future in her dreams and a prosecutor, Jung Jae-Chan (Lee Jong-Suk), who struggles to stop her dreams from becoming real. Ironically, the scene actually has Jung Jae-Chan falling asleep on the shoulder of Nam Hong-Joo.
