First two teaser trailers added for upcoming tvN drama series “Because This Is My First Life” starring Jung So-Min and Lee Min-Ki. The drama series will follow a man played by Lee Min-Ki who owns his own home, but owes a lot on his house and a woman played by Jung So-Min who does not own a home, but wishes she does. They begin living together as housemates.
“Because This Is My First Life” first airs October, 2017 in South Korea.
Teaser trailer and poster for movie “When The Curtain of Prayer Descend” (literal title) starring Hiroshi Abe, Nanako Matsushima and Junpei Mizobata. Movie is based on 2013 novel “Inori no Maku ga Oriru Toki” by Keigo Higashino and directed by Katsuo Fukuzawa. Several other novels by Keigo Higashino in the “Kyoichiro Kaga” mystery series has been adapted into films and drama series. Hiroshi Abe plays Detective Kyoichiro Kaga.

Jung Ryeo-Won and Yoon Hyun-Min are cast for lead roles in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Don’t Believe Her” (literal title). In the drama series Jung Ryeo-Won will play Ma Yi-Deum. She works as a prosecutor and uses drastic methods to win cases. Yoon Hyun-Min will play a rookie prosecutor who is full of justice.
The first script reading will take place sometime next week and the drama series will first air October, 2017 in South Korea.
Gong Myung is cast for the second lead male role in upcoming tvN drama series “Byun Hyuk’s Love” starring Choi Si-Won (‘Super Junior’) and Kang So-Ra. For the drama series, Gong Myung will play Kwon Je-Hoon. He attended the same elementary and middle school with Byun-Hyuk (Choi Si-Won). Now, he works as manager of a secretarial team at a large company. He comes from a poor family background, but he is smart and works very hard. He gets involved in a love triangle with Byun-Hyuk and Baek-Joon (Kang So-Ra).
Trailer and poster added for live-action film “Pumpkin and Mayonnaise” starring Asami Usuda, Taiga and Joe Odagiri. Movie is based on manga “Kabocha to Mayonezu” by Kiriko Nananan and directed by Masanori Tominaga. Joe Odagiri and director Masanori Tominaga previously worked together in 2006 film “The Pavillion Salamandre.”
“Pumpkin and Mayonnaise” will be released November 11, 2017 in Japan.
Here’s photos from the first script reading for upcoming SBS drama series “While You Were Sleeping,” which took place back on January 20, 2017 in Mokdong, Seoul, South Korea. The drama series will air as a pre-produced series with filming having taken place from February through July, 2017. In the drama series, Lee Jong-Suk plays Prosecutor Jung Jae-Chan and Bae Suzy plays Nam Hong-Joo. She can see the future in her dreams.

Caption on the poster asks “Who are you?” Story for the film follows a woman (Masami Nagasawa) who learns that her boyfriend (Issei Takahashi) has created a web of lies about himself. Movie is written and directed by first time director Kazuhito Nakae.

Teaser trailer added for MBC drama series “20th Century Boy and Girl” starring Han Ye-Seul and Kim Ji-Suk. Drama series will take over MBC’s Monday and Tuesday 10PM time slot after “The King in Love,” beginning September 25, 2017 in South Korea.
Filming for movie “That’s Only My World” (working & literal title) finished August 27, 2017 in South Korea. Filming took about 3 months to finish. After filming finished, Lee Byung-Hun stated “I dropped a lot of sweat and got rained on a lot during summer filming. All actors, actresses and staff members worked hard. I am glad to finish safely and hope it turns out into a good film.” The film is now in the post-production stage. In the film, Lee Byung-Hun plays washed up boxer Jo-Ha. His younger brother Jin-Tae, played by Park Jung-Min, has savant syndrome. Their mother played by Youn Yuh-Jung brings them together. Han Ji-Min plays a genius pianist who suddenly quits. Kim Sung-Ryoung plays Madame Hong. She is the owner of the house where Jin-Tae and In-Sook live. Movie is directed by Choi Sung-Hyun (screenwriter of “The Fatal Encounter“).
