Kazuki Soejima is cast in indie film “40 Manbun no 1” (literally “1 in 400,000”). Movie is written and directed by Hirotaka Inoue. In the film, Kazuki Soejima plays college student Toru Nakanishi. He lies to his ex-girlfriend (Haruka Tateishi) and tells her he is trying to get hired at a top advertising agency. In truth, he hasn’t even started looking for a job. He then receives training to find a job from Haruhiko Ogino (Teru Sato).

Meanwhile, the first script reading for the drama series took place December 18, 2017. Main cast members including Kam Woo-Sung, Kim Sun-A, Oh Ji-Ho and Park Si-Yeon all attended.

Go Ara and L (‘INFINITE’) are cast for lead roles in JTBC drama series “Ms. Hammurabi.” The drama series is based on 2015 law based novel “Ms. Hammurabi” by Moon Yoo-Seok. For the drama series Go Ara will play Park Cha O Reum. She works earnestly as a rookie judge and has a bright personality. L (aka Kim Myung-Soo) will play Im Ba-Reun. He also works as a judge, but is guided strictly by principles. He disagrees with Park Cha O Reum on basically everything.
In addition, veteran actor Sung Dong-Il is cast for a major supporting character role. He will play Judge Han Se-Sang. He provides balance between Park Cha O Reum’s idealism and Im Ba-Reun’s strict principles.
“Ms. Hammurabi” will first air May, 2018 in South Korea and will air as a pre-production.
Teaser poster for upcoming movie “Baachan Road” starring Ayane Nagabuchi and Mitsuko Kusabue. Story for “Baachan Road” follows a grandmother (Mitsuko Kusabue) and granddaughter (Ayane Nagabuchi). The grandmother injured her leg, but promises to walk on her granddaughter’s wedding day. Movie is directed by Tetsuo Shinohara.
“Baachan Road” will be released April 14, 2018 in Japan.
Trailer added for upcoming tvN drama special “Our Place’s Tasty Soybean Paste” (literal title) starring Myung Se-Bin, Lee Chun-Hee and Yoo Eun-Mi. The drama special is the 8th installment in tvN’s Drama Stage. Story for “Our Place’s Tasty Soybean Paste” follows a former popular songwriter (Myung Se-Bin), now recluse due to a scandal, and her young daughter (Yoo Eun-Mi). The mother takes a job at a restaurant run by Ki-Bok (Lee Chun-Hee).

tvN has announced that drama series “My Mister,” starring Lee Sun-Kyun and IU, will first air March 21, 2018 in South Korea. The drama series will air Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9PM following the conclusion of drama series “Mother.” In the drama series “My Mister,” Lee Sun-Kyun will play Park Dong-Hoon. He is in his 40’s and works as an architect. IU will play Lee Ji-An. She begins work at the same architect firm as Park Dong-Hoon, but as a temp employee.
Second character teaser trailer and main poster added for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Radio Romance” starring Yoon Doo-Joon and Kim So-Hyun. The second character teaser trailer features Yoon Park as Lee Gang and Yura (‘Girl’s Day’) as Jin Tae-Ri.

Main female cast members have been announced for live-action film “Rainbow Days” (“Nijiiro Days”) starring Reo Sano (‘GENERATIONS’), Taishi Nakagawa, Mahiro Takasugi and Ryusei Yokohama. The new cast members are Ai Yoshikawa, Yuri Tsunematsu, Mayu Hotta and Nozomi Bando (‘E-girls’).
For the live-action film, Ai Yoshikawa will play Anna Kobayakawa. She is a female high school student and Natsuki Hashiba (Reo Sano) gets a crush on her.
Yuri Tsunematsu will play Mari Tsutsui. She is a friend of Anna Kobayakawa and she is also a man-hater. She makes biting remarks.
Mayu Hotta will play Yukiko Asai. She is the girlfriend of Tsuyoshi Naoe (Mahiro Takasugi) and she enjoys cosplay.
Nozomi Bando will play Reiko Chiba. She is a classmate of the four main male characters.
“Rainbow Days” will be released July, 2018 in Japan.
Teaser trailer #2 for online Paravi web drama “Sick’s Spec Saga.” The online drama is a spin-off in the SPEC series which first originated on broadcasting network TBS. The two main leads for “Sick’s Spec Saga” has not been revealed yet though supporting cast will include Yuina Kuroshima, Yua Shinkawa, Raita Ryu and Shiro Sano. “Sick’s Spec Saga” will stream on Paravi which a new online streaming platform that is backed by 6 Japanese companies (TBS, Nikkei, TV Tokyo, WOWOW, Dentsu and Hakuhodo DY Media Partners). Story for “Sick’s Spec Saga” revolves around the team “Tokumu” which resides in the Cabinet Intelligence and Research Office. They work exclusively on cases involving people who posses supernatural powers known as SPEC.
“Sick’s Spec Saga” will be available for streaming from April, 2018 in Japan.

The still images are are from a scene filmed on December 27, 2017 near Pyeongtaek Port in Chuncheon, South Korea.The scene involves Choi Ja-Hye (Ko Hyun-Jung) and Geum Na-Ra (Jung Eun-Chae) working together on a murder case. While they filmed the long scene, they did endure a cold winter Korean night.
