Teaser trailer and two teaser posters for movie “Little Forest”

First teaser trailer and two teaser posters added for upcoming live-action film “Little Forest” starring Kim Tae-Ri. Movie is based on manga “Little Forest” by Daisuke Igarashi and follows live-action film adaptations “Little Forest: Summer & Autumn” and “Little Forest: Winter & Spring” starring Ai Hashimoto in the main character role.

“Little Forest” will be released February, 2018 in South Korea.

Cho Seung-Woo & Lee Dong-Wook cast in JTBC drama series “Life”

Cho Seung-Woo & Lee Dong-Wook are cast in new JTBC drama series “Life” (Korean English title). The two actors will play lead male roles. Story for the drama series is set at a hospital and the screenplay is written by Lee Soo-Yeon. Cho Seung-Woo and screenwriter Lee Soo-Yeon previously worked together in 2017 tvN drama series “Stranger.” For drama series “Life,” Cho Seung-Woo will play a hospital chief director and Lee Dong-Wook will play a doctor.

“Life” will air sometime this year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for movie “Golden Slumber”

Teaser trailer for upcoming remake film “Golden Slumber” starring Gang Dong-Won and Han Hyo-Joo. Movie is based on 2007 novel “Golden Slumber” by Kotaro Isaka. The novel was previously adapted into 2010 feature film “Golden Slumber” starring Masato Sakai and Yuko Takeuchi. Story for “Golden Slumbers” has a man trying to find a way to get back home. Sleep, pretty darling, do not cry and I will sing a lullaby. Golden Slumbers, fill your eyes…

The teaser trailer also reveals that “Golden Slumber” will be released sometime February, 2018 in South Korea.

Filming for movie “Propitious Site for Grave” finishes

Filming for upcoming movie “Propitious Site for Grave” (literal title) finished January 5, 2017 at Hadong in South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. Filming took over 4 months to finish and filming took place across South Korea. Movie stars Cho Seung-Woo, Ji Sung, Kim Sung-Kyun and Moon Chae-Won. Story for the film follows the desires and battles of people who want to become the King and gain control over a grave that will produce two kings.

Ryoma Takeuchi and Minami Hamabe cast in live-action film “Sensei Kunshu”

Ryoma Takeuchi and Minami Hamabe are cast in live-action film “Sensei Kunshu.” The film is based on manga “Sensei Kunshu” by Momoko Koda and directed by Sho Tsukikawa (“Let Me Eat Your Pancreas“). For “Sensei Kunshu,” Minami Hamabe plays high school student Ayuha Samaru. When she has problems paying at a gyudon restaurant, a man played by Ryoma Takeuchi helps her out. The next day, she learns that the same man is her new substitute homeroom teacher. Minami Hamabe believes he must be her fate in love.

Filming for “Sensei Kunshu” will begin January 15, 2018.

Tao Tsuchiya cast in TBS drama series “Cheer Dance”

Tao Tsuchiya is cast in new TBS drama series “Cheer Dance” (literal title). The drama series is motivated by the real story of the cheer dance club “Jets,” which was made into feature length film “Let’s Go, Jets” starring Suzu Hirose. Story for “Cheer Dance” has Tao Tsuchiya playing a girl who grew up admiring the cheer dance club JETS and dreamed of joining the team. She didn’t feel she could join the club and enrolled at a different high school in Fukui Prefecture. A transfer student from Tokyo then asks her to take part in a cheer dance club. The 2017 film “Let’s Go, Jets” tells the true story of the cheer dance club JETS as they go on to compete at a competition in the United States and wins.

 

“Cheer Dance” first airs July, 2018.

3 teaser trailers added for upcoming tvN drama special “Not Played” starring Won Mi-Kyung, Lee Hee-Joon and Myung Gye-Nam. The drama special is the 7th installment in tvN’s “Drama Stage” series to discover talented new storytellers.  Story for “Not Played” follows an older woman (Won Mi-Kyung) who picks up a cleaning job at billiard hall. The woman it seems has an undiscovered talent for shooting pool.
