Yuriko Yoshitaka cast in NTV drama series “Security of Justice”

Yuriko Yoshitaka is cast in new NTV drama series “Security of Justice.” The drama series is based on 2013 novel “Seigi no Se” by Sawako Agawa. In the drama series, Yuriko Yoshitaka will play prosecutor Ririko Takemura. She has worked at her job for 2 years, but she hasn’t yet mastered the profession. She does tries hard and through the various cases grows as a prosecutor and person. Drama series will be scripted by Yuko Matsuda and directed by Seiichi Nagumo.

“Security of Justice” will first air April, 2018 in Japan.

Teaser poster and 7 character posters for movie “Marital Harmony”

Here’s a teaser poster and 7 character posters for upcoming movie “Marital Harmony” (literal title) starring Shim Eun-Kyung and Lee Seung-Gi. The 7 character posters are of Shim Eun-Kyung, Lee Seung-Gi, Kim Sang-Kyung, Yeon Woo-Jin, Kang Min-Hyuk (‘CNBLUE’), Choi Woo-Sik and Jo Bok-Rae.

Filming for “Marital Harmony” took place back in September 5, 2015 to December 23, 2015, prior to Lee Seung-Gi enlisting in the military. He discharged from the military on October 31, 2017 and is currently starring in popular tvN drama series “A Korean Odyssey.”

Movie “Marital Harmony” is a period film and also a romantic-comedy. In the film, Lee Seung-Gi plays Seo Do-Yoon. He is a fortune teller and the best in Joseon, but he doesn’t know his own fate. Shim Eun-Kyung plays Princess Songhwa. She leaves the palace to check on the men from her future husband list. The men are Yoon Shi-Kyung (Yeon Woo-Jin), Kang Whi (Kang Min-Hyuk) and Nam Chi-Ho (Choi Woo-Sik).

“Marital Harmony” will be released February, 2018 in South Korea.

Jung Hae-In cast in JTBC drama series “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food”

Jung Hae-In is now cast for the lead male role in JTBC drama series “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food” co-starring Son Ye-Jin. For the drama series, Jung Hae-In will play Seo Joon-Hee. He works in the computer game industry and returns to South Korea after working abroad for 3 years. He then meets Yoon Jin-A (Son Ye-Jin) again. She is a friend of his older sister.

“Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food” first airs March, 2018 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for movie “Life in Overtime” starring Hiroshi Tachi, Hitomi Kuroki and Ryoko Hirosue. Story for “Life in Overtime” follows Sosuke Tashiro (Hiroshi Tachi) as he retires from his company. He can’t help noticing other people his age just passing their days doing nothing and decides that’s not for him. He meets the president of an IT company and also a woman. Movie is based on 2015 novel “Owatta Hito” by Makiko Uchidate and directed Hideo Nakata.

“Life in Overtime” will be released June 9, 2018.

Sho Aoyagi cast in WOWOW drama special “Kuinige Killer”

Sho Aoyagi is cast in WOWOW drama special “Kuinige Killer.” The drama special features a screenplay by Fumitake Tatesawa which won the “10th WOWOW Scenario Grand Prize” in 2017. The story features a problem that we are all probably guilty of doing at least once in our lives which is running out on restaurant bills before paying. In the drama special, Sho Aoyagi plays Shogo Kawatani. In his past, he was a top athlete, but he now works for family restaurant. His job is to catch the deadbeats who run out on their bills. Drama special is directed by Yuji Nakamae.

“Kuinige Killer” will air March 21, 2018 in Japan.

Park Ha-Na & Wang Bit-Na are cast in KBS2 weekday evening drama series “Mysterious Personal Shopper” (English title). Also cast in a major supporting character role is veteran actress Choi Myoung-Gil. The drama series follows a woman (Park H-Na) who works as a personal shopper. She sets out to take revenge on people who betrayed her. Literal title of the drama series “Doll’s House.”

“Mysterious Personal Shopper” first airs February, 2018 in South Korea (airs Monday-Friday at 7:50 PM after “The Secret of My Love“).

Mahiro Takasugi, Ryo Kato and Daichi Watanabe cast in live-action film “Gangoose”

Mahiro Takasugi, Ryo Kato and Daichi Watanabe are cast in live-action film “Gangoose.” The film is based on manga “Gangoose” by Daisuke Suzuki and directed by Yu Irie. The three main male characters grew up at a youth detention center and came from abusive homes. The men commit crimes against criminal groups to survive.

Filming for “Gangoose” will take place from January 20, 2018 to late Febraury, 2018 and the movie will be released sometime during autumn, 2018 in Japan.
