Kwon Yuri cast in KBS2-Naver TV Cast-Netflix drama series “Sound of Your Heart Season 2”

Kwon Yuri (‘Girls’ Generation’) is cast for the lead female role in upcoming KBS2-Naver TV Cast-Netflix drama series “Sound of Your Heart Season 2” co-starring Sung Hoon. In addition, veteran character actor Joo Jin-Mo is also cast for a supporting role in the drama series. For “Sound of Your Heart Season 2,” Kwon Yuri will play Ae-Bong. She is the girlfriend of Jo Suk (Sung Hoon). In the first season of “Sound of Your Heart,” Jung So-Min played the character of Ae-Bong. Meanwhile, Joo Jin-Mo will play Jo-Suk’s father (Kim Byung-Ok played the same character in season 1).

“Sound of Your Heart Season 2” airs sometime this year in South Korea.

First script reading for drama series “Four Men”

First script reading for upcoming drama series “Four Men” (literal title) took place December 15, 2017 at Sangam, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members including Park Hae-Jin, Nana (‘After School’), Kwak Si-Yang, Lee Ki-Woo and Ren (‘NU’EST’) all attended. At the start of the script reading, Park Hae-Jin (as he will play four characters in the drama series) introduced himself by asking “Hello? Il-Hoon, Chen, Dong-Jin, Michael…. Director, right? Do I have any more characters to play? I am Park Hae-Jin and I will play these characters.” The first script reading took about 3 hours to finish.

Filming for the drama series will begin January 11, 2018. Network in which the drama series will be broadcast has yet to be finalized, but the drama series is now scheduled to air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Lee Joon-Hyuk & Jang Dong-Yoon cast in tvN drama series “A Poem A Day”

Lee Joon-Hyuk & Jang Dong-Yoon are cast in tvN drama series “A Poem A Day” co-starring Lee Yoo-Bi. For the medical themed drama series, Lee Joon-Hyuk will play Ye Je-Wook. He works as a physical therapist. He likes to speak efficiently with an expressionless face and he also keeps people at a distance due to a painful past.

Jang Dong-Yoon will play Shin Min-Ho. He and Woo Bo-Young (Lee Yoo-Bi) studied physical therapy together at the same school. Woo Bo-Young had a secret crush on him back then. Now Shin Min-Ho begins training at the same hospital where Woo Bo-Young works. Actor Gong Myung was first offered the role of Shin Min-Ho, but he declined.

In addition, Shin Jae-Ha is cast to play supporting character Kim Nam-Woo. He is a friend of Shin Min-Ho.

“A Poem A Day” will first air late March, 2018 (takes over tvN’s Monday and Tuesday 9:30 PM time slot after “Cross.”).

Teaser trailer and two teaser posters for movie “Little Forest”

First teaser trailer and two teaser posters added for upcoming live-action film “Little Forest” starring Kim Tae-Ri. Movie is based on manga “Little Forest” by Daisuke Igarashi and follows live-action film adaptations “Little Forest: Summer & Autumn” and “Little Forest: Winter & Spring” starring Ai Hashimoto in the main character role.

“Little Forest” will be released February, 2018 in South Korea.

Cho Seung-Woo & Lee Dong-Wook cast in JTBC drama series “Life”

Cho Seung-Woo & Lee Dong-Wook are cast in new JTBC drama series “Life” (Korean English title). The two actors will play lead male roles. Story for the drama series is set at a hospital and the screenplay is written by Lee Soo-Yeon. Cho Seung-Woo and screenwriter Lee Soo-Yeon previously worked together in 2017 tvN drama series “Stranger.” For drama series “Life,” Cho Seung-Woo will play a hospital chief director and Lee Dong-Wook will play a doctor.

“Life” will air sometime this year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for movie “Golden Slumber”

Teaser trailer for upcoming remake film “Golden Slumber” starring Gang Dong-Won and Han Hyo-Joo. Movie is based on 2007 novel “Golden Slumber” by Kotaro Isaka. The novel was previously adapted into 2010 feature film “Golden Slumber” starring Masato Sakai and Yuko Takeuchi. Story for “Golden Slumbers” has a man trying to find a way to get back home. Sleep, pretty darling, do not cry and I will sing a lullaby. Golden Slumbers, fill your eyes…

The teaser trailer also reveals that “Golden Slumber” will be released sometime February, 2018 in South Korea.
