Cho Yeo-Jeong & Go Joon cast in KBS2 drama “If I Cheat, I Die”

Cho Yeo-Jeong and Go Joon are cast in KBS2 drama series “If I Cheat, I Die” (literal title). The genre of the drama series is a comedy-mystery-thriller. The duo will play lead characters who are husband and wife. Cho Yeo-Jeong will play mystery writer Kang Yeo-Joo. Because of her job, she is constantly thinking about ways to kill people. Meanwhile, Go Joon will play her husband Han Woo-Sung. He is a divorce lawyer.

“If I Cheat, I Die” will first air October, 2020 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Wednesday & Thurday 9:30PM time slot after “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol“).

Actor Haruma Miura passes away on July 18, 2020

Actor Haruma Miura was found deceased at his home around 1PM on July 18, 2020 in Minato, Tokyo. He was found hanging and was transferred to a hospital, but he was later pronounced dead. The police are investigating his death under the assumption that he took his own life. A suicide note was also found nearby. Haruma Miura was a popular actor that appeared in many popular movies and drama series including “Sky of Love,” “Attack on Titan,” and “Samurai Seventeen.” Condolences goes out to his family and friends.

First script reading for OCN drama “Search”

First script reading for OCN drama series “Search,” starring Jang Dong-Yoon & Krystal, took place April, 2020 in South Korea. Attending the first script reading were Jang Dong-Yoon, Krystal, Moon Jeong-Hee, Yoon Park, and Lee Hyun-Wook. The drama series is a military-thriller set along the DMZ. JAng Dong-Yoon plays Sergeant Yong Dong-Jin. He is nearing the end of his military service and becomes a handler for a dog in a search party. Krystal plays military officer Son Ye-Rim. She is sent to the DMZ to investigate a series of mysterious cases. They soon go up against a mysterious creature.

“Search” will first air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer & poster for movie “Silent Tokyo”

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Silent Tokyo” starring Koichi Sato, Yuriko Ishida, and Hidetoshi Nishijima. The film is based on 2016 novel “And So This Is Xmas” by Takehiko Hata (“Unfair“) and directed by Takafumi Hatano (“SP“). The film is set during Christmas Eve, when a person warns a bomb will be detonated in downtown Tokyo by 6PM if they can’t speak with the Prime Minister on a live broadcast. Meanwhile, the ending song for the movie is a cover version of “Happy X-mas（War Is Over)” by Awich. The song is also featured prominently in the teaser trailer.

“Silent Tokyo” will be released December 4, 2020 in Japan.

Kim Jung-Eun, Choi Won-Young, & Choi Yu-Hwa cast in MBN drama “My Dangerous Wife”

Kim Jung-Eun, Choi Won-Young, and Choi Yu-Hwa are cast in MBN drama series “My Dangerous Wife” (literal title). The drama series is a remake of 2016 Fuji TV drama series “My Dangerous Wife” starring Hideaki Ito, Yoshino Kimura, and Saki Aibu. For the Korean remake, Kim Jung-Eun will play Sim Jae-Kyeong. She is happily married to Kim Yoon-Cheol (Choi Won-Yonug), but becomes involved in a kidnapping case. Choi Ji-Hwa will play Jin Sun-Mi. She works with Kim Yoon-Cheol.

“My Dangerous Wife” first airs September, 2020 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer #1 added for MBC every1 drama series “Love is Annoying, But I Hate Being Lonely” (literal title) starring Ji Hyun-Woo & Kim So-Eun. Around the 12 second mark of the teaser, Ji Hyun-Woo states “At one word, love is annoying.” He then repeats “love is annoying.”

In addition, “Love is Annoying, But I Hate Being Lonely” is now set to first air August 11, 2020 in South Korea.
