“The Zombie Detective” is now set to first air August 31, 2020 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Monday & Tuesday 9:30 PM time slot after “Men are Men“).

Trailer and poster added for movie “The Werewolf Game: Death Game’s Operator” (literal title) starring Yuuki Ogoe, Ken Nakajima, and Nozomi Hanayagi. The film is the 8th installment in the “The Werewolf Game” franchise. Movie is directed by Ryo Kawakami and also based on novel “Jinro Gemu: Death Game no Uneinin” by Ryo Kawakami. Caption on the poster above states in Japanese “Resist Fate.”

“The Werewolf Game: Death Game’s Operator” will be released November 13, 2020 in Japan.

Sayuri Yoshinaga cast in movie “Life’s Station”

Sayuri Yoshinaga, Tori Matsuzaka, Suzu Hirose, Toshiyuki Nishida and Min Tanaka are cast in movie “Life’s Station” (literal title). The film is based on 2020 novel “Inochi no Teishajo” by Kyoko Minami and directed by Izuru Narushima. Kyoko Minami recently had another novel adapted into NHK drama series “Dear Patient.” Movie “Life’s Station” will have Sayuri Yoshinaga play main character Sawako Shiraishi. She goes from working at a university hospital to working at clinic that provides home healthcare in her parents’ hometown.

Filming for “Life’s Station” begins autumn, 2020 and the movie will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Trailer & poster for movie “Sakura”

Trailer and poster added for movie “Sakura” starring Takumi Kitamura, Nana Komatsu, and Ryo Yoshizawa. Movie is based on 2005 novel “Sakura” by Kanako Nishi (“Yellow Elephant“) and directed by Hitoshi Yazaki (“Strawberry Shortcakes“). Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been announced as “Ao no ID” by rock band Tokyo Jihen. The theme song “Ao no ID” appears in the trailer.

“Sakura” is now set for release November 13, 2020.

The film is based on manga series “Yakusoku no Neverland” by Kaiu Shirai and directed by Yuichiro Hirakawa (“Erased“). The film is set at a picturesque orphanage, but there’s a dark secret held in there.
