Teaser poster & release date for movie “The Legacy of Dr. Death: Black File”

Teaser poster and release date added for movie “The Legacy of Dr. Death: Black File” starring Gou Ayano and Keiko Kitagawa. Movie is based on 2017 novel “Doctor Death no Isan” by Shichiri Nakayama (“Goodbye Debussy“) and directed by Yoshihiro Fukagawa (“Restaurant From The Sky“). Caption on the visual states in Japanese “Should not chase the doctor.”

Song Joong-Ki, Jeon Yeo-Bin, & TaecYeon cast in tvN drama “Vincenzo”

Song Joong-KiJeon Yeo-Bin, and TaecYeon are now cast in tvN drama series “Vincenzo.” The drama series will have Song Joong-Ki play title character Vincenzo Casano. After being adopted, he grew up in Italy and became a cold-blooded strategist and lawyer for the mafia. He looks like a sweet person, but he won’t hesitate to take revenge. He also has excellent negotiation skills and charismatic. He returns to South Korea after war breaks out between the mafia.

Jeon Yeo-Bin will play Hong Cha-Young. She is an ace lawyer in South Korea and works for big law firm Woosang. She is the type of attorney who will do anything to win a case.

Lastly, TaecYeon will play Jang Joon-Woo. He is an intern lawyer at Woosang where Hong Cha-Young works. He grew up at abroad. He has a handsome appearance and an innocent smile. He trusts his trainer Hong Cha-Young and admires her. 

“Vincenzo” will first air sometime during the first half of 2021 in South Korea.

Main poster and teaser trailer #4 added for SBS drama series “Alice” starring Kim Hee-Seon & Joo Won. Caption on the main poster states “I’ll protect you in any world.” Drama series marks actor Joo Won’s first acting role since he was discharged from the South Korean military on February 5, 2019.

“Alice” will first air August 28, 2020  in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Friday & Saturday 10PM time slot recently vacated by “Backstreet Rookie.”).

Kentaro Sakaguchi cast in NTV drama “35-Year-Old Girl”

Kentaro Sakaguchi is cast in NTV drama series “35-Year-Old Girl” (literal title) starring Kou Shibasaki. Kentaro Sakguchi will play 35-year-old Yuto Hirose in the drama series. He first became friends with Nozomi Imamura (Kou Shibasaki) when they were 10-year-olds and he became the first love of Nozomi Imamura. He worked as an elementary school teacher in his past, but he quit his job due to a case. He reunites with Nozomi Imamura for the first time in 25 years, but she acts like a 10-year-old kid.

“35-Year-Old Girl” first airs October, 2020 in Japan (takes over NTV’s Saturday 10PM time slot after “Detective Novice.”).

Shin Ha-Kyun & Yeo Jin-Goo cast in JTBC drama”Monster”

Shin Ha-Kyun and Yeo Jin-Goo are cast in JTBC detective drama series “Monster” (literal title). They will play detectives in a small town, who work together to capture a serial killer. Shin Ha-Kyun will play Lee Dong-Sik. He received a demotion a long time ago and now works at the small police substation in a quiet town. Yeo Jin-Goo will play Han Joo-Won. He is an elite detective and transfers to the same station where Lee Dong-Sik works.

“Monster” will first air sometime during the first half of 2021 in South Korea.

Sayuri Yoshinaga cast in movie “Life’s Station”

Sayuri Yoshinaga, Tori MatsuzakaSuzu HiroseToshiyuki Nishida and Min Tanaka are cast in movie “Life’s Station” (literal title). The film is based on 2020 novel “Inochi no Teishajo” by Kyoko Minami and directed by Izuru Narushima. Kyoko Minami recently had another novel adapted into NHK drama series “Dear Patient.” Movie “Life’s Station” will have Sayuri Yoshinaga play main character Sawako Shiraishi. She goes from working at a university hospital to working at clinic that provides home healthcare in her parents’ hometown.

Filming for “Life’s Station” begins autumn, 2020 and the movie will be released sometime next year in Japan.
