Ep.1 trailer for OCN drama “Missing: The Other Side”

Ep.1 trailer added for OCN drama series “Missing: The Other Side” starring Ko Soo, Heo Jun-Ho, and Ahn So-Hee. The trailer begins with quick shots of Ko Soo, Ahn So-Hee and Moon Yoo-Kang stating “we are swindlers of justice.” The trailer also shows Ko Soo as Kim Wook discovering a missing child from Duon Village. Kim Wook suspects that child was kidnapped and he looks into the people of Duon Village. Meanwhile, below are still images of the first scene between Kim Wook and Jang Pan-Seok (Heo Jun-Ho).

“Missing: The Other Side” first airs August 29, 2020 in South Korea.

Main trailer for movie “Georama Boy Panorama Girl”

Main trailer added for live-action film “Georama Boy Panorama Girl” starring Anna Yamada and Jin Suzuki. The film is based on manga series “Georama Boy Panorama Girl” by Kyoko Okazaki (“Helter Skelter“) and directed by Natsuki Seta (“Parks“). The trailer begins with main characters Haruko Shibuya (Anna Yamada) and Kenichi Kanna (Jin Suzuki) meeting for the first time. 

“Georama Boy Panorama Girl” will be released November 6, 2020 in Japan.

First script reading for KBS2 drama “Love Blooming House”

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Love Blooming House” (working English title), starring Lee Jang-Woo & Jin Ki-Joo, took place July, 2020 at KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. The first script readingwas attended by screenwriter Yoon Kyung-A, director Hong Seok-Ku, Lee Jang-Woo, Jin Ki-Joo, Jeon In-Hwa, Jung Bo-Suk, Hwang Shin-Hye, Jin Kyung, Kim Sun-Young, In Gyo-Jin, Han Bo-Reum, Jeon Sung-Woo, Bona, Ryeo Un, and Kim Si-Eun. After the first script reading, veteran actor Jung Bo-Suk made the bold statement of “This is the funnest script I ever went through in my 34 years of acting.”

“Love Blooming House” first airs September, 2020 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Saturday & Sunday 7:55 PM time slot after “Once Again“).

Trailer & supporting cast for movie “Child of the Stars”

Trailer added for movie “Child of the Stars” starring Mana Ashida. In addition, supporting cast members has been announced for the film. The newly announced cast members are Masaki OkadaKohei OtomoKengo KoraHaru KurokiAju Makita, and Ninon. For Masaki Okada, he play Teacher Minami. He works at the school where 15-year-old Chihiro (Mana Ashida) attends. Chihiro falls in love with him at first sight and he later has an important impact on her fate.

“Child of the Stars” is now scheduled for release October 9, 2020 in Japan.

Kim Ji-Soo cast in JTBC drama series “Snowdrop”

Kim Ji-Soo from girl group “Blackpink” is cast in new JTBC drama series “Snowdrop” (working & literal title). For Kim Ji-Soo this will be her first regular character acting role (she previously did short appearances in “Arthdal Chronicles” and “The Producers“). Kim Ji-Soo is also the first announced cast member for the drama series “Snowdrop.” The drama series has some links to JTBC drama series “SKY Castle,” with director Jo Hyun-Tak and screenwriter Yoo Hyun-Mi having worked on “Sky Castle” and now “Snowdrop.” In addition, actress Kim Hye-Yoon from “Sky Castle” has also been offered a role in the drama series “Snowdrop” and she is currently considering the offer.

Which network, release date, or plot details have not yet been revealed for “Snowdrop.”

Yoshino Kimura, Yo Yoshida, & Riisa Naka cast in TBS drama “Mothers in Love”

Yoshino KimuraYo Yoshida, and Riisa Naka are cast in TBS live-action drama series “Mothers in Love” (literal title). The drama series is based on manga series “Koisuru Hahatachi” by Fumi Saimon. For the drama series, Yoshino Kimura, Yo Yoshida, and Riisa Naka will all play mothers who send their sons to the same high school. All three women also deal with various issues in their homes.

“Mothers in Love” first airs October, 2020 in Japan.

Air date & poster for TBS drama series “Risky Two People”

September 11th air date and poster added for TBS drama series “Risky Two People” (literal title) starring Ryosuke Yamada & Kei Tanaka. The drama series will air on TBS’ Friday 10PM time slot after the conclusion of “MIU 404.”

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: “Risky Two People” revolves around two detectives as they investigate and solve together brutal crimes that take place in Ikebukuro.

Ryuichi Kanzaki is a detective. He is guided by strong morals and he wants to believe in the good aspects of people. He is assigned to work in the criminal investigation division at the Ikebukuro Police Station. During his first day of work there, he is unable to find his assigned partner, veteran detective Kenji Kuroki (Kei Tanaka). His partner, Kenji Kuroki (Kei Tanaka), actually took leave from the station without giving them notice. The chief of the criminal investigation division orders Ryuichi Kanzaki to find Kenji Kuroki.

There is also secret between Ryuichi Kanzaki and Kenji Kuroki. They are actually step brothers.

Megumi Kanzaki, Sara Shida, & Akari Yoshida cast in TV Tokyo drama series “So I Will Make It”

Megumi KanzakiSara Shida, and Akari Yoshida (‘NMB48’) are cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “So I Will Make It.” The drama series is based on manga series “Dakara Watashi wa Make Suru” by Gekidan Mesuneko and illustrated by Hikari Shibata. All three women will play characters who work as beauty advisors at a cosmetics shop. The drama series shows how the use of make-up helps people in different ways.

“So I Will Make It” will be available to stream via Paravi on October 2, 2020 and airs on TV Tokyo from October 7, 2020.
